[Krayzie: x4]
It's Krayzie Bone (Krayzie, Krayzie, Krayzie)

[Chorus]
Homie, why y'all don't know me (know me)
Might of heard my name (my name)
Ain't nobody feeling hold me ( hold me)
Not in this game (not in this game)
Homie, why y'all don't know me (know me)
Might of heard my name (my name)
But ain't nobody going to hold me(hold me)
Especially in this game

[Verse 1: Krayzie]
Excuse me, but do you know me?
You've seen me on TV and in the video
Got caught up in Crossroads forgot that we was criminals
That's right, we them same niggas to come up from nothing
To what up with them figures?
Nigga, my album got better things
And people changed when I got in the game
Niggas call me I don't even know how you know my name?
How the fuck you get my number?
What the fuck is going on?
Then I got these haters leaving threats on my phone
They messages be records that they made just for me
I'm not on that don't give a fuck if you rap faster than me
But when it come to being the realest niggas that ever did it
You know Bone Thugs gonna be contending for that position
Listen, if why y'all niggas want to trip with us,
Bomb ya fall with you dick in the dust
Get up, what up? Thought ya had me figured out you didn't
Remember next time, that last time that nigga wasn't bullshitting

[Chorus]

[Verse 2: Krayzie]
Homie, why y'all don't know me
Why y'all might of heard my name once or twice
Don't start none (drama), won't be none (drama)
Cause however they want it, they can come get it believe I got it
Can't be faded keep thinking Krayzie ain't really crazy
Haters, that pressing me to make me show this lately
Afraid that they mistaken that they thinking Kray ain't hip, hip, hip
To those who pose as friends
But are phony before they can infiltrate but can't imitate us for long
They better not come talking no shit cause I'm serving 'em some
And fuck what you heard, believe what you see please
Dap is cheap, dramatical action speaks
Did you hear it, hear it?
I know ya feel it, feel it the twelve gauge eruption

[Chorus]

[Verse 3: Krayzie]
We got a game full of clones that can't hold they own
So they be fast to bite
Nigga don't like Bone, then why the fuck you rapping like me bastard
You know you like it, niggas funny
Be bobbin they head to my music, but when they see me they mean mugging
Keep looking ugly, niggas but jut don't jump
Cause I'm a nervous nigga, and I'll buck, buck, buck
Thug haters they get me violent
Cops make me riot
You bitches make me sick and tired, sin keeps me wide up
And I needs to be high, just for fucking with why y'all
And I dedicate this one to all them busters I knew would fall
Had to get rid of the dead weight that was holding me down (holding me down)
The Thugline officials and it's going down (down)
So wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up dog
No need, don't even try to fade us, why y'all
Who the nigga in the halls, big balls?
That's Sawed Off Slim
Don't try to get with him cause player, player

[Chorus: Repeats]

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
