When the sun runs out and there's no one to save you,
Will you go to our favorite place and try to say goodbye.

At the end of,
At the end of the world.
Will you find me?
Will you find me?
At the end of,
At the end of the world,
Will you find me?
So that we can go together.

When the moon breaks up and the tide goes out of control,
Will you find me in the water and swim me to the stars?

At the end of,
At the end of the world.
Will you find me?
Will you find me?
At the end of,
At the end of the world,
Will you find me?
So that we can go together.

Together...

When the sun breaks up and there's no one to save you.

At the end of,
At the end of the world.
Will you find me?
Will you find me?
At the end of,
At the end of the world,
Will you find me?
Will you find me?
Will you find me?

Will you find me?

General CommentShe says at the beginning of the "Home Recording" of this song:

"I wrote this song after watching a slew of like, 'Zombie, end-of-the-world' movies, so it's basically about me running from a zombie, with a little romance in there."

(I paraphrased it a bit since the quote was a little choppy.)

Even without that, though, I feel like the meaning's pretty self-evident. It's the end of the world, for whatever reason, and she's talking about the world falling apart, and asking some other person who's important to her if they'll find her as the world is ending, so they can be together when they die.

When I listen to the song, I just sort of think of the entire world falling apart, and just running to find that one person in the world who means everything to me, and just holding each other until the very end. Despite the apocalyptic theme, it's actually a very romantic song, in my opinion.
