I know you left me standing there
Out of the calm of the coldest air
I don't believe the words you said
But I can't find the words I want
Oh, I can't find the words I want

If you were gone in another life
I don't believe I would just survive
I could feel you next to me
An escape from the world I'm in
Oh, I'm afraid of the world I'm in

One day I will see heaven's reach
I'll find the one who left me sleeping
Every war was another seed
That could feed every soul in need
Oh, I'm worn by the war in me

Somebody found me here
Somebody held my breath
Somebody saved me from the world you left
If you're gonna cry my tears
If you're gonna hold my breath
If you're gonna let me see the sun you set
Oh, I am lost and found
Oh, I am lost and found

Somebody found me here
Somebody held my breath
Somebody saved me from the world you left
If you're gonna cry my tears
If you're gonna hold my breath
If you're gonna let me see the sun you set
Oh, I am lost and found
Oh, I am lost and found

I think the song is sung from a girl who lost someone. It is sung by her to her lost lover, reassuring him that she'll be okay.

Lyrics like, "you left me standing there", and "you were gone in another life", and "the world you left" (in the chorus) suggest this loss. The singer sometimes daydreams about the one she lost, "I could feel you next to me, An escape from the world I'm in, Oh, I'm afraid of the world I'm in". The singer also looks forward to the day when she will see her lost one in heaven, "One day I will see Heaven's reach, I'll find the one who left me sleeping"

But the singer wants her lost lover to know that she will be okay.

"Somebody found me here" (she was heartbroken after losing her lover... destitute, but someone found her)

"Somebody held my breath Somebody saved me from the world you left" (Somebody caught her in her free fall of grief. This could be another man, but there are two reasons why I doubt this. 1) It would seem like a taunt to write a song to her first lover about another man rescuing her from the grief of losing him. 2) Language like "the sun you set", "cry my tears", and "lost and found" all seem to imply that her rescuer is God. All three of these phrases could be allusions to scripture passages from Revelation and Luke. The earlier mention of meeting her lover again in heaven reinforces this view.

Summary: I think the girl lost someone she loved and was devastated--fully devoid of hope. But then Someone found her and gave her hope. He (God) held her breath, cried her tears, and found her. She now has hope that she will see her lost one again.

Jesus said, "I came to seek and find the lost." (Luke 19:1-10) I think he is the someone who saved the singer form the world left by her lover.

I think that this is essentially a song to someone that kind of just abandoned her. Now she's questioning everything that happened during their relationship and doesn't really know how to move on from that or put words to what happened between them. "I don't believe the words you said, but I can't find the words I want"

But she's now found someone who's help her move past that, whether that be God or a new romance. She's no longer going to let that person held her life in their hands "held her breath" control what's happening now. She had lost her self in that relationship, she had been lost after that person left, but now she's found something bigger, something more important. Herself.

I think it's about being in love with someone but then you're not anymore and then you find someone else who found you, too. You're "lost" then "found"

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
