"Jilly's On Smack" as written by and Reid L. Iii Lalonde Les Claypool....
Jilly's on smack, and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back, for the holidays
Jilly's on smack, and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back, for the holidays

Jilly left home
Went to pick her own bone
She made her own
In the marketplace

Now Jilly's on smack, and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back
For these holidays

Now Jilly's on smack, and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back
For the holidays

Jilly had a smile
That spanned over a mile
She left him standing in the aisles
Of the big parade

Jilly always phoned her mother
Emailed daily to her brother
'Til she took a junkie lover
And began to fade

Now Jilly's on smack, and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back
For the holidays

Jilly's on smack and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back
For the holidays

Jilly's on smack and she won't be comin' back
No she won't be comin' back
For them holidays

General CommentJilly's a determined girl who left home and did well but a long the way met up with the wrong guy (took a junkie lover) and she herself became an addict.

Fell in love with this song first time I heard it live, thanks to Ler's amazing guitar work. Jay is also great, but instrumentally Larry is the star of this song. Kinda creepy, horror film sounding. Me Like it :)
Have no clue how to type what Les rambles after the second verse, but it sounds hilarious.

General CommentI saw this song live way before it came out, In Fayetteville, AR in May 2011. As soon As Ler started playin that riff, I was in love with the song! Then I got to know what it was about and I loved it even more.. Way to go Primus! I also heard in an interview that this song is actually about someone that Les and his friends once knew but she got on Herion and faded out of their lives..

My InterpretationI think the idea of this song is pretty clear, the only part i'm not sure about is whether "she won't be coming back" means she died or if she's simply addicted. Either way, it's a brilliantly haunting track and one of my personal favorites of theirs.
