General Commentit's all about being in control and knowing that you're the one in control.
you do what you want, you do it how you want and you don't take into consideration those around you.
    great song, seriously.
i am a bit shocked that no one as commented on this.

My Interpretationto me, this song is about a guy and a girl in a S&M kind of relationship. She knows her place, he controls everything she does and he says lay down, she better or he's "lay" her down himself. This song seems more "sexual" to me:

"you feel the pressure as I'm pulling you in,
you're crumbling under the the weight of the game"

Plus, what else does someone do to you when they "tell" you to lay down?

But I'm sure it can go either way because "laying down" can be a sign of submission and he could just be telling her to give up, to know her place.

But anyway, tis an interesting song.
