I enjoy the premise of this song, as it is different to the usual themes we are told. This to me is about enjoying your childhood and letting go of those memories. Rediscover the innocence and past glorys you had. How you felt in these moments and live your life with the same abandonment now (as an adult).

The lines were he sings about clowns not scaring him anymore is a haunting melody.
