Weekends in bed, no scramble eggs, or bacon
I just have time for you
Backs on the grass, heads in the clouds
We closed our eyes
Enjoy the view

We don't wanna hear
The real world passing by
Saying that we're crazy

We spend all our time lying side by side
Going nowhere, it's really something
Getting busy doing nothing
We spend all our time running for our lives
Going nowhere, it's really something
Getting busy, doing nothing

No magazines or DVDs, we both got
Better things to do
I'll hold your hand
Or shall we dance together
It's just so hard to choose

Every time we hear
The whole world rushing by
I know that we're not crazy

We spend all our time lying side by side
Going nowhere, it's really something
Getting busy doing nothing
We spend all our time running for our lives
Going nowhere, it's really something
Getting busy, doing nothing
Doing nothing

Should be working hard
Instead of lying here naked
Phone rings but I wont take it
'Cause you only get one life, only get one life

All our time lying side by side
Going nowhere, it's really something
Getting busy doing nothing
We spend all our time running for our lives
Going nowhere, it's really something
Getting busy, doing nothing

All our time, doing nothing
All our time, getting busy doing nothing

    My Interpretation

My opinion is that this song is referring to the fact that people spend so much time wasting their time rushing about doing things that in the end are not really that important at all and in the process neglect the things that are, like their relationships. "it's really something Getting busy doing nothing (nothing of any real importance) We spend all our time running for our lives (about how we are all so wrapped up in our own lives we rarely have time for other people anymore.) Going nowhere" (people don't often stop to think where their going in life.) Basically a song about people rushing around from a to b and never stopping to consider the things that really matter in life, but the guy in the song is saying it's not like that for him and his woman. They take time to enjoy life and each other but the rest of the world thinks that their just crazy for not keeping up in the rat race and not constantly rushing around searching for significance in life. But he realizes that it's not really them whose crazy but everyone else who isn't really living but wasting their time doing things that are meaningless."Every time we hear The whole world rushing by I know that we're not crazy." "'Cause you only get one life, only get one life" (It's trying to get people to stop for a minute and think about their life, because as the song says - you only get one life.)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
