Say, can you see the cross?
Inverted solemnly
Symbol for the goat
Of a thousand young

Six six six
Evoke the king of hell
Strike the death knell
Death knell

Say, can you hear the chimes?
Tolls now for the end
Bells call out their doom
As victor reaches womb

Sex sex sex

Receive the beast of evil
Of evil...

Can you say his name?
Carrier of the light
Legions of this seed
A child a spouse will feed

Under spell
of death knell
Death knell

My InterpretationThe whole first album is about the coming of the anti-Christ... View "Opus Eponymous" as some sort of sermon by Papa I about how He will come again. Don't you worry, it's very near, in fact can't you hear the bells of doom?? It's sounding, the end is finally coming!

Then it goes to Prime Mover, where the Devil and the nun that will carry the anti-Christ conceive and He is born in Genesis/Here Comes the Son... The album is actually a very loose concept album/rock opera

General CommentI think this may be about the Cthulhu Mythos deity Shub Niggurath. She is also known as The Black Goat With A Thousand Young and is sometimes viewed as a satanic figure.

General CommentClearly about the conception of the Anti-Christ. But at the same time, the black goat of a thousand young is a phrase that relates to Shub-Niggurath. Or maybe she was impregnated by Satan and her 1,001 child is the Anti-Christ.
    Hail the Great Old Anti-Christ!
