Young, Wild, and Free Lyrics
Lyrics are incomplete and the chorus was inserted into parts of the song where it doesnt even play. Difficult to follow the lyrics like that.
The lyrics on this site are a bit messed up at the moment.
This song though, it was (in my opinion) wrote for current teenagers/young adults.
This song right now is the story of my life. Because even if doing these things prevents success in the future (not that it should), it doesn't matter. The reason I say this is because no amount of success can buy all the good times you have hanging out with friends and rolling one up, and downing a few beers.
The lyrics are repetitive, but if you listen to this after smoking one and hanging out with some friends, you realize that it doesn't matter how repetitive they are because it brings all kinds of good times back to you.
There is not a thing in the world I would trade for all the good times I have had with friends that this song symbolizes so well. This song makes you realize just how meaningful those times are and that you shouldn't let them go to waste. The problem is, is that as people get older and start to gain responsibilities, they forget how much they used to enjoy these kinds of times when they were young and get angry when their kids do it.
But no matter how much anyone tries, almost everyone when young is perfectly symbolized in the title of this song. "Young, wild & Free." Because when you are young, and don't have the responsibilities of being an adult yet, you are free and get to be wild.
I know a lot of people will never see it this way because society has "Drugs are bad" ingrained into everyone's head, but I personally would take missing a few years on the end of my life and having all these good memories that will never fade over living longer and not having all these good times to look back on any day.
I could probably go on for another page or so, but I feel like I've already started repeating myself. I've just been ranting on from the immense nostalgia this song caused. Hell, damn near teared up writing this.
Just glad I have the friends I do and I'll never regret these years. Being able to have fun and love your friends without a worry in the world is the greatest feeling you can imagine. If you're still reading, thanks, if not, I don't blame you.
people please this song has a deeper inspirational meaning its telling us basically not do drugs or drink underage or smoke(at all, smoking is bad for u and it will give you a higher risk of contracting lung cancer and dying)this song is basically an Above the Influence thing stay above it don't be under it. Doing all these (esp at a younger age) will lessen your success in life. So everyone DON'T do drugs, DON'T smoke, and DON't Drink until you have reached the age of 21 or older. Don't ruin your life.
Don't care much of the lyrics but it has a good tune. Like listening to it while driving and singing along with it, 'Living young, wild, & free' ...and the rest are blah, lol
