I'm a fucking walking paradox (no i'm not)
threesomes with a fucking triceratops, reptar
rappin' as i'm mocking deaf rock stars
wearing synthetic wigs made of Anwar's dreadlocks, bedrock
harder than a mothafuckin flintstone
making crack rocks outta pussy nigga fishbones
this nigga Jasper tryna get grown, about 5-7 of his bitches in my bedroom
swallow the cinnamon, ima scribble this sinner shit
while Syd is tellin' me that she's been getting intimate with men
(Syd, shut the fuck up) here's the number to my therapist
tell him all your problems, he's fuckin' awesome with listening

Jesus called, he said he's sick of the disses
I told him to quit bitching, this isn't a fucking hotline for a fuckin' shrink
sheesh, i already got mine and he's not fuckin working, i think i'm wasting my damn time
i'm cockin' 3 past 6 and goin' postal
it's the revenge of the dicks, that's 9 cocks that cock 9's
this ain't no v-tech shit or columbine but after bowling i went home for some damn adventure time
i slipped myself some pink xanies
and danced around the house in all over print panties
but mom's gone, that fuckin' broad will never understand me
i'm not gay(e), i juzt wanna boogie to some Marvin
(what you think of haley williams) FUCK her
wolf haley robbin them
i'll crash that fucking airplane that that faggot nigga B.O.B. is in
and stab Bruno Mars in his goddamn esophagus and won't stop until the cops come in
i'm an overacheiver, so how about i start a team of leaders and pick up Stevie Wonder to be the wide receiver
green paper, gold teeth, and pregnant gold retrievers
all i want is, fuck, money, diamonds, and bitches don't need 'em
but where the fat ones at? i got somethin' to feed 'em
in some cooking books the black kids never wanted to read 'em
snap back green ch-ch-ch-chi and fuckin' leaves
it's been a couple months and Tina still ain't permed her fucking weave.

They say success is the best revenge so I beat Deshay up with a stack of magazines I'm in.
Oh, not again, another critic writing report- I'm stabbin' any blogging faggot hipster with a Pitchfork.
still suicidal i am,
i'm Wolf- Tyler put this fuckin' knife in my hand
i'm Wolf- Ace put that fuckin' hole in my head
and i'm Wolf- that was me who shoved the cock in your bitch
(what the fuck man) fuck the fame and all the hype G
i just want to know if my father would ever like me
but i don't give a fuck so he's probably just like me
A MOTHERFUCKING GOBLIN
(fuck everything man) that's what my conscious said
then the bunny hopped off my shoulder, now my conscious's dead
now the only guidance that i have is splattered on cement
actions speak louder than words, let me try this shit
DEAD.

It was already kind of said, but the entire song is about him having an argument with his alter ego, Wolf Haley, who he wants to be ultimately. If you look at the director of the video on Youtube, it says Wolf Haley. Example other than the obvious ones, (i'm an overachiever, so how about i start a team of leaders and pick up Stevie Wonder to be the wide receiver" -contradiction because you wouldn't want a blind guy on your team) Tyler says, one thing in the song, Wolf Haley completes the contradiction with his input. There's a youtube video where they interview Tyler and he explains it. Pure gold. youtube.com/watch

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
