there was a hole in my mind
I could not be certain or sure
of anything I knew before

When did we grow up and when did we lose
everything we were so sure of back then?
How do we know it won’t happen again?
Somewhere an urgency fell from my side
Some time a border between us arrived
that says we are separate and newly defined
It tells us to take it seriously this time
cos there is no once and for all
