You see I'm trapped in my mind, oh I'm, going trippy
Oh, I don't think I'll ever go
You see the walls are so high that I, couldn't climb them
So I don't know which way to roll
I feel I'm stuck in rewind, though I'm, looking forward
Damn, I wish I knew what went wrong
Am I sick, am I ill? Man, my mental got me
Oh Lord, please help me pull through (oh, baby)

Ooh, oh why, oh why
Ooh, oh why
Ooh, oh why, oh why
Ooh, oh why

You see the sun seems to shine, when I, am not looking
Oh, it seems to trick every time
Things do get out of hand once awhile, inside my mental
Hey, I took one hell of a ride
When I see what is so, I know, I am not lucky
Yeah, I like to pat my own back
It's a gift and a curse, since my birth I'm in a prison
Though I'm happy right where I'm at (oh, baby)

You see I'm trapped in my mind, and I, know it's crazy
Hey, it's not that bad at all
When you think of the world, I know it's crazy
Hey, I'm not that bad at all
I'm trapped in mind, and I, know it's crazy
Hey, it's not that bad at all
When you think of the world, I know it's crazy
Hey, I'm not that bad at all (oh, baby)

Ooh, oh why, oh why
Ooh, oh why
Ooh, oh why, oh why
Ooh, oh why

You see I'm trapped in my mind, and I, know it's crazy
Hey, it's not that bad at all
When you think of the world, I know it's crazy
Hey, I'm not that bad at all
I'm trapped in my mind, and I, know it's crazy
Hey, it's not that bad at all
When you think of the world, I know it's crazy
Hey I'm not that bad at all (oh, baby)

Oh, I'm trapped in my mind, baby
I don't think I'll ever get out
Oh, I'm trapped in my mind, baby
I don't think I'll ever get out, yeah
Oh, I'm trapped in my mind, baby
I don't think I'll ever get out
I don't think I'll ever get out

Hes talking about being in his own world and he doesn't really want to leave, and even if he could he can't. Hes gotten used to it and he knows hes different. He is accepting he will never be normal.

It's not necessarily about being high. It's open to interpret.Sometimes I feel like Kid Cudi's been reading my journal.

Trapped in my Mind is lyrical genius by Cudi. He is "trapped in his mind" yet he likes where he is at. He enjoys the effects of drugs and knows it is self destructive but he cannot escape because the walls are 'too high'. These walls are not literally high, but they are the walls Cudi has created in his head due to drug use. I love Kid Cudi

I don't think it's about being high simply because he says "now it's a gift and a curse since my birth". I think it's about the subjective reality that we all experience due to a combination of our expectations, what we remember, and how we perceive reality ourselves. Everyone's subjective reality is different. Some people experience a reality that is closer to objective reality than others due to a variety of factors. Also, the objectiveness of one's reality can change over the course of one's life. What he is talking about is being in a reality that is very far from objective reality. He's been there his entire life. He knows the bad side to it all, but after living this way as long as he has, he's grown used to it and now sees the good side too and has learned that it's not as bad as he once thought. He feels like since he's been there his entire life he's trapped with no way out.

He's got no one to talk too. He's trapped in his mind. It's not about any drugs.

    My Interpretation

The song is about being aware of a higher consciousness we are all trapped in our minds by our own egos which is how we perceive the world, But the way we perceive the world isnt "Reality" Cudi is aware of this fact thats what the song is speaking about. Which is why on the track right before it GHOST! the ending in "I hope they understand that I really understand that, they dont understand"

this song is most likely about a solo lsd trip he went on without anyone else with him or he spiritually went off on some sort of psychedelic drug. for those of you who have tripped on some acid before, there is no better way to explain your thoughts other than being trapped in your mind hah. "stuck in rewind but im looking forward". this sounds like something that could happen on acid considering when you are tripping hard as fuck you tend to reflect on yourself and reevaluate past experiences. i think cudi took a couple strips of acid and after (or during) his trip he composed this badass song. cudi is the fucking man.

It's about being so high that you're trapped in your own mind and don't know what's going on around you because you're just stuck in you're head

its another song about him getting high. "I took he's trapped in his mind, and when you here these words, you think, woah thats crazy! He's says nah its not bad at all, being trapped in you mind isn't that bad,...."its a gift and a curse" Curse+He's trapped in a prison, he cant just LEAVE the state Gift=He likes being high, in that calm prison......He says in comparison to all the crazy shit that goes on in the world, somebody that has a weed addiction is light, he's like theirs MURDERS, child molestors, all crazy stuff in hte world, im just addicted to weed. lol.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
