How much time, do I got left
I been marchin, tryna step
I been tryna pass the test
I'm just tryna pass the test
How much time do I got left
My heart been Beatin' out my chest
911, why Wyclef
911, why Wyclef

How much time, do I got left
I been marchin, tryna step
I been tryna pass the test
I'm just tryna pass the test
How much time do I got left
My heart been Beatin' out my chest
911, why Wyclef
911, why Wyclef

How much time do I got left
Lately I been thinking death
Lately I been feeling stressed
I'd put the pistol to my head
But I can't do that

Got too many people counting on me
Too many people that do love me
Too many reasons to feel lucky
Too many blessings, uh

Gotta get myself under control
Every time I am on a roll
The ones that love me hold on tight
But depression kills me so slow

Losing my grip on reality
I don't want to be another casualty
I can't go live my life so casually
I am a masterpiece

All the sacrifices my ancestors made
For me to live the way I please
Please keep on guiding me
Need you beside of me

Inside of me is burning up
Temptations lurking, got me stuck
Thoughts of quitting, giving up
Lacking passion, lacking trust

In the process, losing my faith
I have been conscious and I have been patient
God I been calling and you kept me waiting
Feel like I'm falling and turning to Satan
Conquer your demons or you will not make it
Battle yourself and you'll never reach greatness
Sit with yourself and don't dwell in the fake shit
Just keep on working your truly amazing

That's what they tell me, I know that its true
I've helped many of people and I made it through
Up out of nowhere and out of the blue
They told me to stay solid, I'm solid as glue

Had to get disconnected
Just to reconnect to you
Shit been getting harder
But I'm equipped with what it takes to make it through

How much time, do I got left
I been marchin, tryna step
I been tryna pass the test
I'm just tryna pass the test
How much time do I got left
My heart been Beatin' out my chest
911, why Wyclef
911, why Wyclef

How much time, do I got left
I been marchin, tryna step
I been tryna pass the test
I'm just tryna pass the test
How much time do I got left
My heart been Beatin' out my chest
911, why Wyclef
911, why Wyclef

Never Mind the words that you heard
The problem is that you can never cut the wings from this bird
Everything I do and everything he does, we do and we do so with these verbs
Time doesn't move fast it's just constant
Meaning we gon be alright like the words from Kendrick of Compton

I look in the mirror sometimes tryna face that
The government have wiretaps and still tryna trace that
Our history, black history, that history they're tryna erase that

But the problem is tryna find our weakness, like a needle in a haystack
This'll go down in history, I hope y'all play that

Beautiful song. These are great lyrics for reflecting on a traumatic event. I get the sense someone unexpected was there for Mr. Tillman in a time of need. Those moments reveal so much about people around us.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
