You walk in the room
Every eye on you
instant attraction from every view
For every step you prove
your confidence is true
I watch the victims line up just to fall for you

I'm so caught up in the way you move

I know that I've already been here before
And I know that I promised myself no more
But there something about you girl
Something about
The way you move making me want to believe.
Maybe you maybe me we can try it and see
You got me thinking that your everything perfect for me
Cause there something about you girl
Something about the way you move
That's making me want to believe
Just something about the way you move

Curiosity has got the best of me
I can't ignore the beauty of your mystery
It's all or nothing now are you my destiny?
I prayed forever that's the only possibility

I'm so caught up in the way you move

I know that I've already been here before
And I know that I promised myself no more
But there something about you girl
Something about
The way you move making me want to believe.
Maybe you maybe me we can try it and see
You got me thinking that your everything perfect for me
Cause there something about you girl
Something about the way you move
That's making me want to believe
Just something about the way you move

There something about you

I will always remember the day
That you came a'moving my way
And every piece of me want to run away
But your worth the chance to take
A perfect love that I know can't be wrong
A perfect love is why I sing this song
Together you and me will always beat the odds
Come with me

I know that I've already been here before

I know that I've already been here before
And I know that I promised myself no more
But there something about you girl
Something about
The way you move making me want to believe.
Maybe you maybe me we can try it and see
You got me thinking that your everything perfect for me
Cause there something about you girl
Something about the way you move
That's making me want to believe
Just something about the way you move

It's a love song, and I think a great one. Just because they don't write a song about religion doesn't mean you should doubt their faith.

It sounds like a love song to me, but I'm not very religious. As a quick note though, just because you're a christian band doesn't mean that every song you write has to be about God. This could tie into God indirectly and the only one's who are in Since October. We have no way of knowing. It really seems like it's about a guy who's in love with how this girl presents herself, from how she walks down to simple hand gestures. Maybe they've been together before, they do repeat "I know that I've already been here before" a lot. "And I promised myself no more" may mean that they've broken up and he's sworn to himself he wouldn't go back to her but he feels like the relationship is perfect, in some obsessive love kind of way. I can agree where Alien93 says that he's returning to the source of his pain. It sounds like she's hurt him in the past but something keeps drawing him back to her. Either way, whether indirectly tied to God or a love song or even a unrequited love song...this is a great song. :)

disturbedchic is right, just because they are a Christian band, doesn't mean they have to write songs about God. This song could be read in 2 ways: The Christian way is that the writer of the song is personifying sin as a girl, the addictive nature of sin and the struggles of temptations in Christian life. While the non-Christian way of reading the song is as Crownedhopeless called it. A love song, but I think the writer could be referring to another girl that has hurt him before rather than the girl mentioned in the song. either way, great band =D

    My Interpretation

From what he says in the song put together with the video I think he is saying that there is this girl he likes but she is possessed by the devil (The old guy with the gun) So he is trying to save her... Idk that is my interpretation lol...

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
