I don't think about it, I don't think about it

Misunderstood, everybody feels that way sometimes, oh oh oh oh
I wish I could fit in with all the rest but I, oh oh oh
Got my own style, got my own way
I don't care what people say

Yeah 'cause, I don't think about it, I don't think about it
I don't think about it, being myself there ain't no doubt about it
I won't cry any tears, I'll just live without fear
I'm so happy 'cause I'm living my life and I don't think about it

A shooting star twinkling across the sky at night, oh oh oh
Near or far I'm wishin' everything would be alright, oh oh oh
Got my own dreams, got my own plans
Gonna get there anyway I can

'Cause I don't think about it, I don't think about it
I don't think about it, being myself there ain't no doubt about it
I won't cry any tears, I'll just live without fear
I'm so happy 'cause I'm living my life and I don't think about it

Got my own style, got my own way
I don't care what people say

Yeah 'cause I don't think about it, I don't think about it
I don't think about it, being myself there ain't no doubt about it
I won't cry any tears, I'll just live without fear
I'm so happy 'cause I'm living my life and I don't think about it

I don't think about it, I don't think about it
I don't think about it, being myself there ain't no doubt about it
I won't cry any tears, I'll just live without fear
I'm so happy 'cause I'm living my life and I don't think about it

Think about it, think about it
Oh I don't, I don't think about it, whoa oh, yeah
'Cause I'm living my life and I don't think about it

    My Interpretation

I think that this is a more commercial way of being "unique", Where you walks out of who you are by being wrapped up being a “dreamer” because you don’t fit in, well there’s two point of views in this song, one there’s how it goes for the ones that are dreamers beyond mans measure (actual “dreamers”), and the other one is about how the society wants to put you in that category, so the () is my interpretation, I take Luna from HP as an example.

I don't think about it x2 Luna; She thinks ´bout lots of things, including the ones that judge her, ´cause she thinks at it as nothing, therefore she’s not afraid of thinking about it, when they judge her, she doesn’t get upset because, she thinks its silly to be upset and react on things, ´cause she understands that there’s NO right or wrong side of her, so she doesn’t need to convince everyone how she is, therefore she reason quite a bit about it, instead of avoiding it.

(Meaning of the text; This person tries to be independent, but tries to keep cool and avoid every negative thing that’s been directed to this person by saying “I don’t think about it” ´cause you lose confident as soon as you think about it, therefore you choose to be a “dreamer” so you don’t need to deal with it)

Misunderstood (oh oh) Everybody feels that way sometimes Luna; Yeah, sure, she gets misunderstood, but in the long run, she’s not, just at the beginning but not in the end, ´cause the ones that spend time with her, negative as positive begins to understand her well being,, its more like they realize that they are misunderstood, that they are strangers to each other, because they have this barrier against others, therefore they pick on her to claim what they realized is wrong. (But its really depends of what kind of people she meets, ´cause all people doesn’t have barriers, but if you’re a “bitch”, “harasser” you probably have barriers, you keep people distance, (I hate categorising but I need to it so I can give proper explanation of what I mean) So if you somehow intend to hurt people, you get offended by her presence, ´cause she doesn’t cry your tears, she sees through you, and the reason she can that is because she is 100 % herself.

(Meaning of the text; By seeing yourself as misunderstood you think of a right side of you that no one notice, that you want other to notice, because you thinks they see you in a wrong way, well, that means that you do care)

I wish I could fit in with all the rest, but I Oh (oh oh) Luna; In her world, it isn’t about ”fitting” in to groups and categorisations, not as a “dreamer”, one of the “bitches” or any sort of things, she’s just herself and that’s enough, so she doesn’t “wish” that she could “fit in”, that’s like giving up who you are, and appear what others think is “fitting” to themselves, and she doesn’t believe in that, therefore she wants them to accept everyone as they are, instead of being a lie that dies in front of them when she cherished for disappearing. She loves being a part of groups, loves humans and mankind, so its not that, she “fits“ in by being herself and that’s enough for her.

(Meaning of the text; This is a sincere wish of fitting in, become a lie, being like all the rest, but what’s the problem? The problem is that she isn’t invited, and she’s not included, therefore she “wish” to become one of them, but well it doesn’t goes so well for her, so what does she do?)

Got my own style Got my own way Luna; She doesn’t have her “own” dreams, or her “own” way, ´cause she’s just herself so she doesn’t need to fill it up with “own” stuff, ´cause she thinks that is an excluded way of handling other people, its like “I can’t fit in, therefore I do my OWN stuff, I separate myself from them from the bottom of my heart” Well, Luna, she doesn’t separates or excludes herself from the rest by thinking “my own” thoughts.

(Meaning of the text; Well, she can’t fit in with the rest, so she becomes into “my own” thinking, and looks up to “I can be better” or “I got my own dreams”. And starts to set yourself as a ”star” that will eventually shine, and that’s when you stop dealing with yourself, you raise yourself up in dreams about yourself, because others sunk you down. so you start to become a false “dreamer” and titles yourself proudly that you doesn’t need to fit in, when what you most want to do is exactly that, and it’s nothing wrong with that, its just that… you’re close to a lie)

I don't care what people say, yeah Luna; Well, there’s no such thing like that statement, “I don’t care” `cause it doesn’t really mean anything to her, so she’s not busy by not caring about what they say, what I mean is that she doesn’t dwell if she cares or not, it doesn’t exist for her.

(Meaning of the text; Well, if you spend times by thinking it down, as “you don’t care” ´cause you don’t want to care, though you might care)

cause I don't think about it x2 (Look above)

Well, I didnt go on with the rest of the lyrics, ´cause I was tired... but I hope the big picture is a clear view for you... and this is what I think about it.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
