Heaven save me a place with a window,
I'm on my march to the end that remains
I've buried a cold within this heart,
I lost the cure that plagued the start
Oh, my lover I ache

(I guess that I...)

I've done all of these things for you
Stained my soul to bleak refute

(Help us, help us, someone. Help us, help us)

Now wallow in sick and disease
to measure out a man I know I can't be
Go learn your turn and swallow a shepherd if they follow,
Please greet them as they graze, goodbye.

Here's my blood, cause' you will accept no other
I've hollowed this heart to hide you within

(I guess that I...)

I'm so sick of these things I do
Worse off, worse off, I blame you

(Help us, help us, someone. Help us, help us)

Now wallow in sick and disease
to measure out a man I know I can't be
Go learn your turn and swallow a shepherd if they follow,
Please greet them as they graze, goodbye.

You did all you could but there's nothing left, no, no more after all
Shame you, you know that the secrets kept would one day kill us all

Wallow through sick and disease
to measure out a man I know I can't be
Go learn your turn and swallow a shepherd if they follow,
Please greet them as they graze, goodbye.

(Help us, help us, help us)

Now wallow in sick and disease
to measure out a man I know I can't be
Go learn your turn and swallow a shepherd if they follow,
Please greet them as they graze, goodbye.

I don't think these are very accurate, I guessed the best I can. I couldn't decipher the first verse at all. If anyone can decipher them better, let me know and I'll edit it.

    I think it's

"Here's my blood, cause you will accept no other I've hollowed this heart to hide you within."

Oh, i just noticed, listening to the song again i forgot a correction.

I've done all of these things for you Stained my soul to bleak refute.

Re-reading the lyrics, noticed the K sound at the end of your "Bleed" and the only thing i could think and hear was "Bleak" then the word after that, i thought and hear "Refute". Listen to them, sing my corrections. Try them out for yourself.

I think Bskinffington has it pretty accurate, with a little flaws hear and there.

Here is what I have for the first verse

"Heaven's find me a place at the window, I'm on my march to the end of me, I've buried a cold within this heart, I lost the cure that plagued the start, Oh, My lover I ache. (I can't stand by)"

    What do you guys think?

Anyone else hear he "(help us, help us survive)" in the background?

At first I thought you had the wrong song... Mainly because you missed the entire intro.

    A few corrections.

Heaven save me a place with a window, I'm on my march to the end of me, I've buried a cold within this heart, I lost the cure that plagued the start Oh, My lover I ache.

Honestly i have no idea how anyone heard anything but "Heaven Save me a place with a window"

Now wallow in sick and disease to measure out a man I know I can't be Go learn your turn and swallow a shepherd if they follow, Please greet them as they graze, goodbye.

Remember, the song is called The Lost Shepherd. "Please greet them as they graze, goodbye." If you actually listen to the HQ album version, there is a G sound where you put "wave". It has a very distinct G sound. Could be Grave but then again that makes really no sense. So seeing as the song is about a "Shepherd", Graze makes more sense to me and remembering Claudio Sanchez's singing style, it would seem a lot more correct. Try singing it. Also how does "Please" sound like "You'll"?

You did all you could but there's nothing left, no, no more after all Shame you, you know that the secrets kept would one day kill us all.

Added a "no" and fixed the wrong lyric. Can't figure out how "after all" sounded like "for you"

Of course this is in all due respect, my corrections I am pretty sure will end editing. And like i said, try singing it with my corrections.

Now wallow with sick and disease To measure out the man I know I can't be Go learn your turn and swallow a shepherd if they follow, Please grieve them as they grave, goodbye.

The above is what I hear, and I'm wondering if anyone else does also... I also think that the third chorus replaces grave with graze because I do indeed hear that z sound at the end.

My thoughts agree with the "to bleed with you". The whisper after says "help us, help us, someone. help us, help us).

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
