Am I going insane? (Insane)
My blood is boiling inside of my veins
An evil feeling attacks (attacks)
My body shaking there's no turning back

So take your eyes off the trigger
I'm not to blame if your world turns to black
As your eyes start to blister
There's just no hope for our final embrace
So here we are, I'm in your head
I'm in your heart

You were told to to run away
Soak the place and light the flame
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal

I was told to stay away
Those two words I can't obey
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal

Is it my turn to die?
My heart is pounding as I say goodbye
So now I dance in the flames
I love you crying and screaming my name

You said that we'd be forever
How could you kill me and lie to my face
Now that we can't be together
There's just no hope for our final embrace
So here we are, I'm in your head
I'm in your heart

You were told to run away
Soak the place and light the flame
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal

I was told to stay away
Those two words I can't obey
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal

Go

So here we are (so here we are, I'm in your head)
(I'm in your head)
I'm in your heart

You were told to to run away
Soak the place and light the flame
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal, your betrayal

I was told to stay away
Those two words I can't obey
Pay the price for your betrayal
Your betrayal

This song is really the poster child you could say for Bullet for My Valentine. One of my favorite bands. They are always original and are pure emotion and metal. Anyways this song like TG127 says is pretty self explanatory. I think that many people go through what this song is about. He is basically saying that while he loves this someone he won't put his own world in jeopardy. He also is extremely hurt because he was lied to. He is also saying that he is pissed and won't deal with all the bs that this person is putting him through. He wants revenge as well. "You were told to stay away".

Actually, this song sounds a lot more stalker-ish than you people may realise. "I was told to stay away" sounds like an AVO may have been taken out as he/she could have been too possessive over him/her. It sounds like her/his betrayal was more leaving him/her than anything else.

I think this song has the same kind of message as the song Black Dahlia by Hollywood Undead. He feels extremely hurt because he was cheated on. He still loves this girl but he just doesn't want anything to do with her, even though she says she is sorry. "I left you, crying and screaming my name" (My interpretation of that lyric in the song...maybe he does say I love you. Either way you get that he still has feelings for this woman he just can't get over them because he was lied to so many times). Another part I feel gives away the fact he was cheated on is the line "You said that we'd be forever...How could you kill me and lie to my face?" My thoughts on this song...I love this song though. Very strong and powerful :)

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
