Whenever your love can find me
They break through the walls, to find me
It's breaking the walls to find me
I go out in the world
I made my case to the world
I saw the world and to the world
It asked me back again
It caused me love, hold me tight
Do do da do da
It peels off and ties that bind me
I don't need a thing to remind me
That I'm part of the world.
I saw the light
I saw the light
And I felt all creamed all in white
I felt so permanent being in love
I saw the light
I saw the light
And I felt all creamed all in white
I felt some permanently love
I saw the light
I saw the light
I saw the light
And I fell all creamed in white
I feel so permanently loved
They break through the walls, to find me
It's breaking the walls to find me
I go out in the world
I made my case to the world
I saw the world and to the world
It asked me back again
It caused me love, hold me tight
Do do da do da
It peels off and ties that bind me
I don't need a thing to remind me
That I'm part of the world.
I saw the light
I saw the light
And I felt all creamed all in white
I felt so permanent being in love
I saw the light
I saw the light
And I felt all creamed all in white
I felt some permanently love
I saw the light
I saw the light
I saw the light
And I fell all creamed in white
I feel so permanently loved

"It asks me back again
It calls me Love and holds me tight
I don't need a thing to remind me
That I'm part of the world"
Drugs, especially coke, make the user feel accepted and apart of the world, and in general confident and with purpose. Also, it's very addictive--"it asks me back again"--and users usually crave it soon after taking it because the high doesn't last very long.
"And I felt all creamed on in white
I felt so permanently alive"
Perfect description of coke. "Creamed on in white... permanently alive" = cooookkkeee. hello!
Also the song is perfect for the turmoil going on inside someone doing drugs--the beginning is like the high and the second part of the song--its energetic, loud and sort of happy and then starting with 2:19 it changes pace, and gets creepy and dark, just like a come down from a drug.
Anyway, I love this song, not coke though. Coke is bad, don't do it, very addictive and bad for you.
Love this song. I don't even want to know what he meant about feeling creamed on in white though :-).
The tone is so sexy though and the build up reminds me of Cvantez and Change My Life or some other dong of theirs. I love it, love it, LOVE it. It makes me feel so jeaned up in white.
He seems to be discussing the realization of ego games we play along with ego-death or ego-loss:
It breaks through the walls that bind me
It's breaking the walls that bind me
And I go out in the world
I make my case to the world
I sell the world unto the world
It asks me back again
It calls me Love and holds me tight
It peels off them ties that bind me
He goes on to speak of the feeling of unity with the world around him that characterizes most positive psychedelic experiences:
I don't need a thing to remind me
That I'm part of the world
And this line probably references that moment of indescribable ectasy and peace that can be reached:
I felt so permanently alive
Or maybe he's never does psychedelics...but probably he probably has.
