It's brilliant how the song leads you into the assumption that it's a simple boy/girl unrequited love thing, then that chorus hits you and turns it all on it's head. He was a genius songwriter.
This song makes me freaking sad.
Vic wrote this as a way of telling death to screw off, and then he ends up killing himself anyway.
I honestly think this is one of the best songs ever written...

Vic teaches us to be aware. Aware of all emotions, sights and sounds. I can listen to his music off and on and always get something new out of it.
