Stephen, Stephen
Why won't you call me?
Stephen
Why won't you call me?

I saw you in your tight-ass rocker pants
You saw me too
I laughed 'cause I was completely trashed
And I watched your ugly girlfriend
Sneer across the room
As if I really care that she's here with you
All I know is

Your my object of affection
My drug of choice my sick obsession

Stephen, why won't you call me?
I'm sitting here waiting
Why won't you call me?
Stephen, I'm feeling pathetic
I can't take rejection Stephen
Why won't you call me?

I've got guys waiting in the line for me to play
My evil girly games with all their minds
Just watch me I've got it down
To a simple art just bat my eyes
Like this
And there's a broken heart

But somehow you turn the tables, what the hell?
I can charm the pants of anyone else
But you

Stephen, why won't you call me?
I'm sitting here waiting
Why won't you call me?
Stephen, I'm feeling pathetic
I can't take rejection
Why won't you call me?

Stephen, I'm thinking' that maybe
You might think I'm crazy
Is that why you won't call me?
Steve, don't you think I'm pretty?
Do you not love me, is that why you won't call me?

'Cause your my object of affection
My drug of choice my sick obsession
I want to keep you as my pet to play with
And hide under my bed forever

Stephen why won't you call me?
I'm sitting here waiting
Why won't you call me?
Stephen, I'm feeling pathetic
I can't take rejection
Stephen, why won't you call me?

Stephen I'll knit you a sweater
I want to wrap you up in my love
(Stephen) forever
I will never let you go, Stephen
I'll never let go (Stephen why won't you call me?)

Stephen why won't you call me?
I'm sitting here waiting
Why won't you call me?
Stephen, I'm feeling pathetic
I can't take rejection
Why won't you call me?

could this be making fun of taylor swift? she has a song with a stephen and her songs are always about heartbreak over a boy, and this seems a little too desperate for ke$sha. could be wrong, but that was just my first impression.

I love this song! It's one of my favest songs on Animal, I replay it all the time because it's just so cute and girly! It's super stalker-ish and obsessive but I think that's why I like it so much. Being overly-obsessive about boys is something that a lot of people are really discrete about because no one wants to be thought of as creepy! But of course my girl Ke$ha doesn't care, she's just defining everything that I think most girls can relate to, like when you first meet someone and build them up in your head and you can't stop thinking about them, wondering if they're thinking about you, waiting for that text message reply...but then it never comes, so you wonder for no reason at all what you did wrong or why, and of course automatically you start to ask, "What, you don't think I'm pretty?" when it really has nothing to do with you at all, it's really just because you don't really know the guy, since you never got a chance, and turns out, he's really just a major loser!

At the very beginning, it almost reminds me of Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap.

Ohhh, and it's really a minor error on the lyrics, but I think it's:

"I've got guys waiting in a line For me to play my evil GIRLY* games With all their minds"

Instead of "girl games," I think it's "girl-y games" just adding a -Y (or an -IE, for girlie!)

    :)

    My Opinion

I think this could be making fun of Taylor Swift. Several of the lines are similar to some of her lyrics.

Honestly.... I hate most of her music but I like this song. Like someone posted before it sounds a lot like Imogen Heep. Listen to the song Goodnight and Go by Imogen. Also a song about stalking someone.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
