When I woke up this morning
could not roll out of bed
did not feel a fever
with my hand placed upon my head
must've been a demon
must've had a demon hanging around...

He'll catch me off guard
Yea he gets me into a whole lot of trouble now

Now that I've got a bit older
I've gotta grow into a man
lived my whole life as a young boy
gotta learn a lesson while i still can
must be a reason
must be a reason that I haven't found

No more looking back
now eyes front, the answers are coming out

My floorboards are creaking, feeling this " "
I could feel another one creeping
but the fever is coming on
must've been a demon
" inside my house"
been cleaning them out
send them, send them back the way they came

now there is no room here, for this darkness to crowd this space
oh theres been a " " that needs resolution to take its place
Ive got a feeling
feels like a demon is heading out
I sent them all packing
right back, right back the way they came

You don't belong here
go on, send you back the way you came

stop dead in your tracks
get out, go back to hell for heavens sakes

Here are the lyrics, according to the album notes (or whatever you call them):

When I woke up this morning Could not roll out of bed Did not feel a fever With my hand placed upon my head Must have been a demon Must have had a demon hanging around

He'll catch me off guard He gets me into a whole lot of trouble now

Now that I've got a bit older Got to grow into a man Lived my whole life as a young boy Got to learn a lesson while I still can Must be a reason Must be a reason that I haven't found

No more looking back Eyes front The answers are coming out

My floorboards are creaking Feelings are hitting me wrong I could feel another one creeping Another fever is coming on Must've been a demon Must have a dozen inside my house Been cleaning them out Changed man, I'll send them back the way they came

There is no room here for this darkness to crowd this space There's been a burden that needs resolution to take its place I've got a feeling Feels like my demons are heading out I sent them all packing right back the way they came You don't belong here, go on I'll send you back the way you came

Stop dead in your tracks Get out, go back to hell for heaven's sake

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
