All my friends are coming over
And i hope nobody told her
She has a way of turning sunshine into rain
I got on that shirt she hates
I just know that face she'll make
Even though it hurts, she's my favourite pain

She never drives her car
She drives me crazy
She ran outta gas and somehow I'm to blame

I'll take her out and drop her off
On the outskirts of our town
I'd leave a trail of roses that lead back home
(so come back home)
She'll pick a fight for no good reason
She knows I'll never leave
I love her half to death but she's killing me

All my friends, they say they like her
But I know behind my back
They all think the same things that I do

She spends her daddy's credit card
and says that im the one who's lazy
She's like a dream and a nightmare coming true

I'll take her out and drop her off
On the outskirts of our town
I'd leave a trail of roses that lead back home
(so come back home)
She'll pick a fight for no good reason
She knows I'll never leave
I love her half to death but she's killing me

And i wouldn't have it any other way
She can change her clothes
She can change her hair
But she'll always be the same

So I went out and bought her roses
She complained about the thorns
I caught her smiling and that's what I do it for

I'll take her out and drop her off
On the outskirts of our town
I'd leave a trail of roses that lead back home
(so come back home)
She'll pick a fight for no good reason
She knows I'll never leave
I love her half to death, Oh yeah, I love her half to death

I'll take her out and drop her off
On the outskirts of our town
I'd leave a trail of roses that lead back home
(so come back home)
She'll pick a fight for no good reason
She knows I'll never leave
I love her half to death but she's killing me
She's killing me

They're fire and rain but they just can't live without each other and they are pretty aware of it. My favorite part was "So I went out and bought her roses. She complained about the thorns. I caught her smiling and that's what I do it for." It pretty much sums up all the words in this song; and it's so big you can't just ignore it.

    A better song! ^^

This song is about a girl who has a tough exterior that makes her come across as mean and a guy who likes trying to get through her facade, because he knows how truly sweet she is underneath.

i think that it's about a relationship where the girl has a lot of flaws that drive him crazy at times, but regardless he still loves her.

just adding on to whats already been said this girl really gets under his skin she has so many flaws and complaints and nick is just fed up with her constant and unprovoked fighting and complaining about him, but he'd never leave her cuz he loves her, and she knows this quite well, so she never changes because hey, she doesnt have to cuz hes sticking around either way. it hurts, and it drives him crazy, but hes also crazy about this girl so he puts up with it all

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
