"Worried Shoes" as written by and Daniel Johnston....
I took my lucky break and I broke it in two,
Put on my worried shoes, my worried shoes,

Took me so many miles and they never wore out,
My worried shoes, my worried shoes,

Oo-o-o-oo o-oo-ooo, my worried shoes,

I made a mistake that I never forgot,
Tied knots in the laces of my worried shoes,

Every step that I take is another mistake,
I march further and further away in my worried shoes,

Oo-o-o-oo o-oo-ooo, oo-o-o-oo o-oo-ooo, my worried shoes,

My shoes took me down a crooked path,
Away from all welcome mats,
My worried shoes,

I looked all around and saw the sun shining down,
Took off my worried shoes, my worried shoes,

Oo-o-o-oo o-oo-ooo, oo-o-o-oo o-oo-ooo, oo-o-o-oo o-oo-ooo,
My worried shoes,

General CommentI love this.. perfectly describes how you can get tied up (literally in this song) by things, worry about things. And sometimes at some point you just suddenly realize you don't have to worry about things at all.
The difference between worrying and caring - you can care for people or care about things without worrying about them. All too often those two seem to go together.

General CommentDaniel Johnston cover, with a snippet of a Paul McCartney song 'I took my lucky break and I broke it in two'. This song is about regret, destroying possibilities.

General CommentI like how it resolves. It's not like some kind of modern emo song.

General Commentto me this is about a person who got herself into a situation that caused her to feel upset, paranoid and worried for a long time. she was unable to get rid of this feeling because this situation seemed unbeatable. "I tied knots in the laces of my worried shoes" but then she realized that it was possible to overcome and she "took off her worried shoes" and decided that caring and worrying are different and she could be happy again. its beautful.
