Round 1!
I swear to god I'd do it for fun
Just a dead man walkin' with a double barrel shotgun
Ain't a single fucker left to fear
See their lips moving' but I don't wanna hear
Show down (I ain't backing down from anybody)
Throw down (If I don't get some space)
Lay down (not in this life or another)
It's a nightmare (and it's not going away)

All I wanted was your honesty
Something more than this
Something more than me (more than me)
Death can take me if I can't be free
I am not like you, I'm a dying breed

Round 2!
Something you just don't wanna do
Go dancin' with the devil, unless your wearing my shoes
You got nerve, and I'll give ya that
Watch the world crumble while you sit on your ass!
Wake up (get your head together motherfucker)
Straight up (before it's too late)
Stand up (nothing ever lasts forever)
Corrupt (and that's how it's gonna stay)

All I wanted was your honesty
Something more than this
Something more than me (more than me)
Death can take me if I can't be free
I am not like you, I'm a dying breed

All I wanted was your honesty
Something more than this
Something more than me (more than me)
Death can take me if I can't be free
I am not like you, I'm a dying breed

IMO they already surpassed Devil Driver... devil drivers songs are not nearly as addicting.

This was the last song to be recorded for the album. Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory explained to Metal Hammer why this was chosen as the opening track: "You know, we didn't have an awful lot of time in which to make the new record, and this was the last track that Ivan added his vocals to. That's why we originally had it down as a bonus track, because it was being worked on right at the end of our schedule… but when we heard the finished thing, we knew it had to go on the album. Track One!" He added: "In a way, it's a bit like 'Ashes' on the first album — 196 bpm, really fast, a heavy aggressive track with a great melodic chorus. It really was the missing piece of the puzzle."

The song can easly be releated to the government and the fact that they are watching the world fall apart without moving a finger, and they keep talking but wont keep their promises, But the "dying breed" stance makes me think this song's is more likely about the people that keep being one identical to the other, refusing to revolt, to make a riot, all governed by technologies and not having their own ideas. So the man in the song refuses to be like them, like the rest of the world, and explains why he is different and so will be till death arrives, even if this difference will cost him life.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
