"Be Gone" as written by and Vincent Accardi....
It's getting hard to stand up
I think I can hear God calling my name
He'll try to make my heart break
But I was told you'd call me tonight
They're calling my name
They won't slow the car down
I'm scared that I will keep it for my own
The one that is calling my name is telling "come down"
They're calling my name
They're calling my name
Calling my name

General CommentMaybe the lyrics are distorted because they're too painful/personal. The album seems to make very personal statements about a man who cannot find/hold onto love.

General CommentI thought the repeated line was something about "coming home." But this actually looks mostly correct. Kudos to you, for figuring anything out.

General CommentI think this song is supposed to be like a prayer to God.. It's chopped up for a reason goes along with the struggles they have with God.. Anybody feel my drift?

General CommentThis is just pretty much a general statement about brand new in general, but does it bother anyone else that everyone seems to credit everything that brand new does to jesse alone? according to absolutepunk.net, this song was written by vinny, not jesse. It just seems like everytime someone is trying to defend brand new they say how "I am sure Jesse did it for a reason", as if jesse is the only one making decisions about the band. I don't know how many of you actually have the physical copy of daisy, but if you check the liner notes it says "All songs written by brand new". They're clearly trying to make a point that these songs are the product of all of them.

That being said, i think its interesting as hell how similar jesse's lyrics and vinny's lyrics are. i would have assumed this was written by jesse because of the religious theme and whatnot, but its awesome that they seem to be on the same page and share similar points of view about what they depict in their lyrics.

    end rant!

General CommentWhat's the point of this argument? Save the comments for when the cd is out. Then again you can't say the meaning of an instrumental so it might not matter... I'm contradicting myself quite a bit here. Sorry. God, they should put a button on keyboards that erases.

General CommentThe song has words in the background, but they're inaudible. According to one reviewer, the guitar in the song is used again in the song immediately following this one.
