I had a feeling it wasnt real
but the hole that is left followed me from the dreaming
The ground was moving
the fog was deep and my voice was inside and it told me a secret

Dig Dig Dig till my eyes cant see
I still get through and i still dont breath
All this hope and theres a hole in I
and i have to get to the other side
I dig through it and my skin turns thick
I borrow winds to the dirt in brick
In my shape it was in my shape
and yours too

I have a feeling
You wont believe what i tell you the truth
but the truth isnt easy
Why cant you see it?
Its like a shadow of you on the wall
and its waiting and its breathing

Dig Dig Dig till my eyes cant see
I still sit through and i still dont bleed
On this slope theres a hole in I
I have to get my self inside
Telling you that its the truth
i have to do this is my shadow and i have to see yours too
It's wait there for you it is to frame you

Climbing the hole and see
your so raiding cause your home
In your home

Dig Dig Dig till my eyes cant see
I still sit through and i still dont bleed
On this slope theres a hole in I
I have to get my self inside
Telling you that its the truth
i have to do this is my shadow and i have to see yours too
It's wait there for you it is to frame you

Climbing your hole and see

I had a feeling it wasnt real
but the hole that is left followed me from the dreaming
The ground was moving
the fog was deep and my voice was inside and it told me a secret

This song holds a certain something for me... being able to go deep within yourself and learn those dark secrets kept hidden from you.

Very awesome song, one of my faves from this band.

Correct lyrics (what is it with the missing punctuation? - pardon my stringent grammar self. >.>):

I had a feeling it wasn't real but the hole that is left followed me from the dreaming The ground was moving the fog was deep and my voice was inside and it told me a secret

Dig Dig Dig 'til my eyes can't see I still get through and I still don't breathe All this hope and there's a hole and I have to get to the other side I dig through it and my skin turns thick I burrow into dirt and brick In my shape it was in my shape and yours too

I have a feeling You won't believe what I tell you the truth but the truth isn't easy Why can't you see it? It's like a shadow of you on the wall and it's waiting and it's breathing

Dig Dig Dig 'til my eyes can't see I still sit through and I still don't bleed On this slope there's a hole and I have to get myself inside I'm telling you that it's the truth I have to do this - it's my shadow and I see yours too It's waiting there for you it needs to frame you

Climb in the hole and see You're so radiant 'cause you're home In your home

Dig Dig Dig 'til my eyes can't see I still sit through and I still don't bleed On this slope there's a hole and I have to get myself inside I'm telling you that it's the truth I have to do this - it's my shadow and I see yours too It's waiting there for you it needs to frame you Climb in your hole and see

I had a feeling it wasn't real but the hole that is left followed me from the dreaming The ground was moving the fog was deep and my voice was inside and it told me a secret

I think it's about going inside yourself and meeting something dark inside... and having it follow you out.

    Song Meaning

I didn't realize this at first but it's actually based on the horror manga, The Enigma of Amigara Fault by Junji Ito. I'd actually read it before, but it wasn't until TVBS wrote it on their facebook fanpage when I actually saw how obvious the connection was.

(Course, death to the author is always valid; I still have my own standing interpretation.)

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
