The bounty, blessed to the amount we never guessed the best is yet to come
We came to rock the fucking block
If you don't come new then you might get dropped
I think it strange the you sang carried on
Seem so deranged like the one they call woe begone
I hit the jackpot I'm the lucky one my fortune endless never coming undone
Moving I'm a nomad and all the girls and boys know the noise is rad
The treasure is soul and aren't you glad I get psychedelic with a pen and a pad
Find it difficult to be so analytical
I'm filled with hope the rope it won't hang you
Sit your ass down and come in rangoon
Right about now it's about that time
Ya know I crack the coconut and twist up the lime
I been known to roll like a seminole warrior
Passing on the tales like the one they wrote the story for
Wild card that you threw
Of all the places, to end up it amazes me
After all we've been through
Jackpot, lemme hear ya say, whoa-oh
Jackpot, uh what, whoa-oh
Giving what ya got til ya hit that spot, whoa-oh
Lucky dice roll the path that we tread
Was paved with bars of gold
Now we got it how we bought it
Sweatin' from stage to stage a lot of it
And if we won the chance to dance and do it all again
We wouldn't change a thing there is no other end
The pinnacle we reached we knew it was possible
How we got here overcoming obstacles
Ya know I crack the coconut and twist up the lime
I been known to roll like a seminole warrior
Passing on the tales like the one they wrote the story for
Reside west coast from the midwest
Take what ya like and fuck all the rest man
We only enter in one contest
That we made up ourselves that's to be the Three Eleven-est
Wild card that you threw
Of all the places, to end up it amazes me
After all we've been through
What are the chances, the odds must enhanced it's a
Wild card that you threw
Of all the places, to end up it amazes me
After all we've been through
Jackpot, lemme hear ya say, whoa-oh
Jackpot, uh what, whoa-oh
Giving what ya got til ya hit that spot, whoa-oh
Huh, just jock til the truth just (sic)

I tried figuring out what the words are where you put the question marks, but with no luck, haha. But I think it's "sit your ass down and come in brand new."
And I think this about 311 as a band-- like how lucky they've been, traveling the country while going on tour.. like all the obstacles they've faced, it's amazing how they've come this far.
As much as I hate when people say this, but this song sounds like old-school 311. With SA rapping, especially. Love it.
They better play this song live, it would be awesome.

"Room enough to know it's about the critical. Find it difficult to be so analytical. I'm filled with hope the rope it won't hang you. Sit your ass down and come in rangoon."
Most of that part was right, but here's some corrections according to the booklet.

This is definitely the most old school 311 type song on this album. But it definitely does kick ass.

Ok so this album is not going to amaze anybody lyrically . . . but I saw them a few days ago on 6/29/09 in Mansfield, Ma for about the 25th time; they had to make-up a show from 6/24/09 because the Comcast Center lost power that night. They played this with about seven other Uplifter songs. In addition, in all honesty I was not really feeling the album so much. Until I saw the band do what they do best . . . rock a live show like they are trying to be signed to their first label.
I always buy Pit tickets for 311, because if you have to stay confined to seats when their live show is so dope, you are really missing an experience.
Of course, the 311 audience always draws some whack-dizzle frat boy chumps . . . but there are still some of us left that keep the dance floor properly bumpin' as usual. And with songs like Jackpot, that are made to be played in front of 30,000 fans, 311 will stay timeless.

this song and "SOmething Out Of Nothing" were my favorites, SA is a better rapper then some of these no name losers how get lucky and make a record deal and after a few months we never hear from them again. in short, go 311

This song has some serious occult references in it... "touch of my wand" and "my guardian", feels very Crowleyian. They're basically showing their gratitude for the luck they've had and singing about the work that went into making it to where they are now and fullfilling what they think is their higher purpose in life
The lyrics in this song are pretty mysterious.
