Inside Scoop!
Bring home 3000 troops
(in a year or two)
They must think we're stupid.
They need dupes to shoot other youth
Call 'em Hajis, Japs, or Gooks
Just don't call them human.
'Cause empathy is a liability
It hampers your ability to just keep on shooting,
And back in DC at Walter Reed with PTSD
Coalition of the illing.

News today, what the general say
Looping on replay on every news station.
"Check the progress, dudes,
Gotta see this through
Gotta job to do
It's our occupation."

And the Democrats watching out for their stats
Say "We're not the rats, we're good for the nation.
Troops home!" they sing
While they're wearing their bling
And no one says a thing
About these corporations.

Bechtel Blackwater Boeing Northrop Grumman
Kellogg Brown and Root and the asshole they've got their thumb in
Business is business and they take care of their own
So you'll never hear a peep about bringing them home.

All they want to do is take your money.

If you want to hear some truth just ask
Stand in line all day for a tank of gas
Sitting in the basement planning an attack
Roll up in the street in that keffiyeh.
Let me tell you what the fuck
They dressed up like cops and made a road block
Downtown Baghdad they tried their luck
Hands up guns out and they stole an armored truck.

But no one throws down like the Puget Sound
When the shit goes down and the law's around.
Don't want no military in our ports and docks
And when the police pull their pepper spray
The people pull up rocks.
Seattle Tacoma and Olympia
The county the rez the peninsula
Tukwila to Bellingham then all the way back
We've got hella solidarity with the people of Iraq.

All they want to do is take your money

Lyric CorrectionIn the second verse "gotta see this through" and "check the progress dudes" should be switched. "wearing that keffiyeh" should be "wearing them masks". And the rez and the county should be switched.
