Unknown, talk to unknown
Ever, lasts forever
Well it's a shock, shock to your soft side
Summer moon
Catch your shut eyes in your room
In my room
In your room
In my room

Louder, lips speak louder
Better, back together
Still it's a shock, shock to your soft side
Summer moon
Catch your shut eyes in my room
In your room
In my room
In your room

Whats the time
Whats the day
Go and leave me
Whats the time [Repeat x2]
Whats the place
Go and leave me

Out,

Leave me out [Repeat x3]

General Commentto me it sounds like a first real love and first heartbreak.

"unknown, talk to unknown" sounds like someone introducing the two lovers

"ever lasts forever" refers to being naive about the relationship and thinking it will last forever, but it ends.

"sharp shock to your soft side" refers to the shock of the love and the impact it has on the emotions, or soft side.

"summer moon, catch your shuteye" "in your room, in my room" sounds like it was a summer romance, and it's talking about the two of them sleeping together, sleeping at each others places.

it sounds like they broke up, then got back together, "better back together", which eases her heartache, but now shes terrified he's going to leave her again.

i think its about that first heartbreak and the pain and emotion catching you by surprise.

General Commenti love the sound of the line "sharp shock to your soft side"

the 'sh' is so acute, and the 's's are so soft

    beautiful song

General CommentDustybreeze is right about those lines,
also for the third verse it should be:

In my room, in your room
In my room, in your room

    I love this song.

General CommentI can't really work this song out but it appears to be about a person who feels that their relationship is coming to an end soon and so they are anticipating the break up instead of enjoying the simple presence of their lover.(What's the time, what's the date, gonna leave me?)

General CommentAnd you, 4barbela, apparently don't realize that I don't check Songmeanings daily, nor do I have the ability to delete comments because I did nothing of the sort. Also, the lyrics are fixed. Learn to be patient.
