It's on the one
And now the numbers spill out
Into space and into you

Well I'm here
I'm at your door now
Chillin outside for you

You were looking like you needed something
like you never been so unsure
You were squirming like an unnamed child
And laying on a pile of dirty clothes
So tired

Well I cried I didn't know what to say
Look at your room
Look what you've done
I know things have been hard
But you've gone too far

All a this
All a this
All a this
Don't matter now
All a this
All a this
Don't matter now

You'll see what it's about
Time waits for no one
Yea
You'll see what it's about
Time waits for no one
You'll see what i'm about
I wait for no one

I added these lyrics of which I constructed based off of listening to the song a few times; I apologize if any of it is incorrect. (The first line is likely to be faulty).

I believe this song is referring to a person dating someone who has a serious drug problem and the person is deciding to leave the addict. The relationship needs to end because the person has reached a breaking point with addict's behaviors and sees the person as pathetic. He/She is not going to wait for the other person to get their life together just as time doesn't wait for anyone as well.

Facing New York is a strong newcomer in the way of progressive rock. Great songwriting and excellent instrumentals.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
