Are those things not much correct today
And be part of the bad
Things towards me with no mitigating
Circumstances here

Half the world is watching me
Hoping that I’ll let go

Well, for nine days
A small moth has
Tried to escape
Our bedroom

A silhouette behind
The milky white drapes
Fluttering in vain
With dreams of freedom

Half the world is watching me
Hoping that I’ll let go
Half the world is watching me
Try to find my way home

Take your loss across the world
Kissing lips as cold as silver
Never love too much too soon
Faces we forget to include
I know you have not been well
And it’s much too late to repel
Do not know the half of it
Can only wish that you will forget

Are those things not much correct today
And be part of the bad
Things toward me with no mitigating
Circumstances so

Took her down with me to see the sight
Before the morning light
From my willful way upon her breast
Encompassed, not impressed

Obviously the pre-write to Behind The Drapes. This is a beautiful song.

i think its about what the ppl wants of us, how the society influences force us to be in one line, if you leave the line, then you are doing the wrong things. I think what they are saying is that we are free and we can choose, even if half the world are watching us. When they sayd: "Are those things not much correct today And be part of the bad... Took her down with me to see the sight Before the morning light" for me is like if he wants to show her how real life is, how it feels to do what you really want to do, not what do the other ppl wants from you, hes didnt take her to the bad he took her to the right, before she goes to the line... i think its a reflecting song, anyway, maybe im wrong... with me we'll never know xD at leats if you drink coffee with Jonas in a rainy day, siting anywhere listening to the drums :P

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
