sweet sister, help me along
help me be strong, never get bored
never ignore, always amuse, and always (?)
sweet lover, you know the deal
i can predict the things that you feel
i need a breather, i need a towel,
i need a lover, i need it now

cause i was born through the simple love
i was worn like a boxing glove
i was torn from the humid skies above

sweet lover, don't push me away
please let me say what i gotta say
you tell me you love someone else
you wanna go be all by yourself
i know i hadn't been kind
took you for granted
it's granted I'm blind
I'm trying to give you all of myself
only to you, nobody else

cause i was born through the majesty
of your warm loving hand in me
i was born now there's nothing left to be

i sing a simple song
about all the times
yes you have cried, as i have cried
yeah both loved, and yeah we have lied
some day together again
meet me down by the river bend
my love for you is not quite the same
but maybe we can blossom again

cause i was born for the simple love
i've been worn like a boxing glove
i was torn from the humid skies above

and i was born for the majesty
of your warm loving hand in me
i was born, now there's nothing left to be

how could you say that you love him
you don't even like his music
how could you say that you love him
you don't even trust his music
his music defines his heart
his heart defines his music
how could you say that you love that guy
you don't even like, in fact you told me that you hated, his music

i wish so bad you would say, "honey come back don't go away."
i would be on the very next bus
come here to you, i'd come here to us
does it matter, do you even care
i pushed you away when i wasn't there
see i was confused, didn't know what to do
now all i can say is that i love you

cause i was born for the simple love
i was worn like a boxing glove
i was torn from the humid skies above

and i was born through the majesty
or your warm loving hand on me
not this lost and lonely tragedy

i can relate to that line too well... when you get that intimate with someone that you share thoughts and stuff... you become codependent and it starts getting too much.. you start being able to predict not only the good but the bad.. then you can easily hurt the other person.. it sucks...

    cool song <3

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
