I've got to breathe
You can't take that from me
Cause it's all that you left that's mine
You had to leave
And that's all I can see
But you told me your love was blind

There are times
You're so impossible that I should sign a waiver
And you will find
Someone worth walking on when you ask me to go

I'll leave when the wind blows
Take a breath and there it goes
I'll be outside of your window
I'll pass by but I'll go slow
I'll leave when the wind blows

There was a day
You threw our love away
Then you passed it to someone new
You wanna stay
But since you wanna play
We can finally say we're through

There are times you're so impossible and you ask me to go

I'll leave when the wind blows
Take a breath and there it goes
I'll be outside of your window
I'll pass by but I'll go slow
I'll leave when the wind blows

You can scream there's just echoes
Pass outside of your window
You'll be sad that you let me go
I'll leave but just know

As I lay in solitude
Oh what's a boy supposed to do
I shake the very thought of you
Me together, I remember
Late nights when I stayed up late
All I do is wait and wait
Your never coming home to me
That's the hardest thing to see

I got to breathe
You can't take that from me
We can finally say we're through

I'll leave when the wind blows
Take a breath and there it goes
I'll be outside of your window
I'll pass by but I'll go slow
I'll leave when the wind blows

You can scream there's just echoes
Pass outside of your window
You'll be sad that you let me go
On every face you'll ever know
And everywhere you ever go
You'll feel when the wind blows

This song to me has something to do with a relationship that was eventually going to end. Going through all the good times, there were also some hard times. The girl can't take it anymore and asks him to go. He has a hard time doing this but she will always be in his memory(like the wind) . He thinks she will defenitly regret this because of all the love they had. The wind(which is the guy) will always be apart of her. She has to breath so she has a part of him forever.

    My Interpretation

"i'll pass by but i'll go slow i'll leave when the wind blows" sounds to me like he's slowly giving up on her and she probably won't even realize it until he's gone. Rather bias as that's what i'm currently going through.

To me, this song is about a guy who finally realizes that he needs to move on from the girl he was with. She treated him badly, and "all he'd do is wait and wait". But this song is basically him coming to terms with the fact that they are over and she will never truly be his again. It is a song about the end of a relationship and accepting that it's over. The wind blowing is basically signifying that now they are nothing more than a gust of wind, or a passing memory in each other's lives and that is all they will ever be now. He is saying that she can try all she wants to get him back ("you can scream"), but it won't work because now she is nothing more than something in his past ("there's just echoes").

    I think it's

"As I lay in solitude, oh, what's a boy supposed to do? I shake the very thought of you and me together. I remember late nights when I'd sit up late, all I'd do is wait and wait. You're never coming home to me, that's the hardest thing to see."

I have a Boise wave radio that enables me to hear stuff that I can't hear well on my iPod. That said, I believe in chorus, that instead of "there your air goes", Tyson is saying "there your heart goes". It makes more sense anyway, in my humble opinion. In an interview Tyson did for the video "The Wind Blows", which debuts on 4/27, he said the song was about a relationship that just ended. Not badly. It was just time for it to end. With all due respect to the man who wrote the lyrics, the song sounds to me like the girl cheated on him and then dumped him, and now she's having second thoughts. "There your heart goes." It also seems to fit more with his constant theme of girl cheating on him, dumping him, breaking his heart. It breaks my heart to know that he was once burned so badly that it not only impacts his music, but also his whole outlook on life.

I love this song. it feels really deep. it makes me think of what's happening right now with this guy. we're really just friends, but there's obviously more. and because of it the friendship's not working and there's this calm where you just kind of accept that it's not going good and something has to be done even if it's horrible and hurts.

and i think that's what this song is about. because sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Here's the strong verse that basically says the story..

"There was a day You threw our love away And you passed it to someone new You wanna stay But since you wanna play I can finally say we're through"

They had a life together, and now it's gone in the wind. She basically wants him but wants to fool around with another guy. He is almost over her or is close to getting over her...

    so sad but so beautiful...

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
