Silent Sorrow In Empty Boats

General CommentOne of my all-time favorite instrumental tracks from a rock 'n roll band. I don't know if Brian Eno actually contributed anything to this track (as nobody seems to remember exactly what he did on this album), but it definitely sounds like the product of "Enossification."

General CommentThis is a beautiful instrumental. I imagine Rael walking back through the tunnel after his encounter with the Lamia, his head and heart hurting, still mourning for their death that he accidentally caused and being so wrapped up in his thoughts that he doesn't notice the way his body is morphing into a Slipperman. The song is heavenly and atmospheric, and I imagine tendrils of perfume emanating out from a pool, the soft echoes of the Lamia's musical voices calling Rael's name... Beautiful song.
