One, two, three, uh

Nowhere
Yeah, we're going nowhere fast
Maybe this time
I'll be yours, you'll be mine
C-c-c-crazy (crazy)
Get your ass in my bed
Baby, you'll be
Just my summer boyfriend
Summer boy

Let's get lost, you can take me home
Somewhere nice we can be alone
Bikini tops, coming off
Don't be sad when the sun goes down
You'll wake up and I'm not around
I've got to go, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
We'll still have the summer after all
Ooh

Sometimes
You might start a fight, uh
But I'm happy
Pretending we're alright (alright)
Sunglasses (oh)
Cover up my green eyes
My martini glistens, yeah
While checking out other guys
Summer boy

Let's get lost, you can take me home
Somewhere nice we can be alone
Bikini tops, coming off
Don't be sad when the sun goes down
You'll wake up and I'm not around
I've got to go, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
We'll still have the summer after all
Ooh

Hey there summer boy
Let's go for a drive
Take me for a ride
Never gonna close our eyes

Hey there summer boy
I'm a busy girl
Don't got too much time
Hurry up before I change my mind

Hey there summer boy
I'm taking off my heels
Lets go for a run
Have a little summer fun
Have a little summer fun
Summer boy

Let's get lost, you can take me home
Somewhere nice we can be alone
Bikini tops, poppin' off
Don't be sad when the sun goes down
You'll wake up and I'm not around
You've got to go, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
We'll still have the summer after

Let's get lost, you can take me home
Somewhere nice we can be alone
I've got my summer, summer boy
Don't be sad when the sun goes down
You'll wake up and I'm not around
I've got my summer, summer boy
And we'll still have the summer after all

Ooh
Uh
I've got my
Yes I've got my
I've got my summer, summer boy
Ooh

I love this song it reminds me of being young, about the summer romance. where you think that your in love but when you look back its wasn't love it was lust, and fun and exciting, it was never going to go any where but it was fantastic all the same

I'm suprised this doesn't get more play time, it's one of my favorites on the album.

It's obviously about Summer Romance, like the classic story of a girl going to a summer home, meeting a boy, fooling around, knowing full well this is just a fling and it will end when fall comes around.

    Great song!

This song must be hero-worshipping something from the late '70s, but I don't know what... I'm tempted to say Blondie, but that doesn't feel quite right... This isn't very new-wavey

    My Opinion

This sounds intensely Gwen Stefani-esque. I love it.

This is the lyric that tells me something which no one else has yet mentioned. She is not really talking about a 'boy' but uses it to function as a girl that will function in the role of a boy. When she says Bikini tops coming off it suggests that the song is about two girls taking off their tops. Anyone else feel that way?

I love this song. It's obviously just about a summer romance. No love, just lust.

    BUT RLY GAGA IS GREAT.

I like this song, it's so catchy... The whole summer romance without any deeper commitment theme is fun... and can hit home for many

i like to think she wrote this after watching the black books episode where bernard wants a summer girlfriend to stop him 'staring' at every woman he sees :)

this song isn't one of her best, but it's pretty good.

i like how the whole song sounds happy and carefree, and seems to end the cd on a positive note, but if you listen really closely at the end there's this weird keyboard thing that sounds almost out of key, and gives the song an eerie feeling, like something isn't finished and the song is ending on a comma. i love it...it gives the song a lot more depth.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
