"Die Religion Die" as written by and Robert Conrad Flynn Philip John Demmel....
I’m sick of all your rules
They're so man-made
You treat them all like fools
You put my name to shame
I’m everything you’re not
I give them love
My ways you have forgot
You put yourselves above

I'll testify!
It’s time to see religion die!
The truth can’t lie!
It’s time to see religion die!
Who cares? Who's right?
It’s time to see religion die!
I'll crush the fight!
It’s time to see religion die!

My church is not inside your building walls
On Sundays you all hide, while the world just falls
Now go into the world and destroy Hell
You have authority, use it for the kill

I'll testify!
It’s time to see religion die!
The truth can’t lie!
It’s time to see religion die!
Who cares? Who's right?
It’s time to see religion die!
I'll crush the fight!
It’s time to see religion die!

Children come away with me
I want you all to be mine
I am taking back what’s mine
And you’ve killed too much time
With pointing all your fingers
At your kids that’s why they’re lost
Try to look deep in their eyes
You will see suicide
Blame it on yourself
Cause no one else will pay your price, your price

Die just, die religion die, just die
Die just, die religion die, just die
Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!
Die! Religion, die! Die! Die! Die!

Do not be afraid
Religion is man-made
Everything is OK
The rules have just been changed

General CommentThis song is saying that religions that men create keep us away from true religion and a real relationship with Christ. If religion is just something you do on Sunday's or is arbitrary man-made rules, then it is meaningless and keeps us from discovering what religion should be.

General CommentYou see, God is like the moon, and religion is like a sign pointing to it, but the sign was built so big that it obstructs our view. We aren't supposed to look at the sign, but the moon, but so many of us are staring at the sign, the outside world thinks that the sign is our God, and not the moon it points to. Thus song is about tearing down the sign, and let the moon be the sign.

General Commentto "poopoomyass". I think the whole " I don't go to church because I hate to get up in the morning" might be covered in the the "dying to self, taking up your cross" scripture. Can't think of where it's at right now but that's what came to mind. I don't think people have to go, but you might want to come up with a new reason for not going.

General CommentI agree that "religion is man-made", as the song says. However, so many people who do not really seem to have a relationship with God are calling themselves "spiritual but not religious", all while looking down on the ones who truly do have a relationship with God as the ones who are "religious". This is something that the new agers and apostate, post-modern "Christians" do very often. When they refer to "religion", they apparently mean doctrine - even though the Bible, which is not a religious book, has clearly stated that "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Sadly, many in our day who take pride in "not following religion" are often the ones who are under the bondage of religion themselves without even realizing it. The fact that many of them look down on those who have a true relationship with God (with a contempt that sometimes verges on rage!) is proof that they themselves do not have that relationship.

General CommentI have felt the same way for soo long! I hate religion but I love Christ. I go to church occasionally but there is so much more to it than that! I hate churches today... the try to push their own agenda with out using scriptures in the right context... it's all about money, drawing a crowd, and a social gathering anymore.

i am so amazed that head chose to follow christ this is like a world wide breakthrough.
i pray that head will continue to use his music to influence others so that they will know that God is real and he loves us so much.
i pray the rest of korn one day decides to give their lives to christ.
praise Christ Jesus, He who was He who is, and He who will always be God Almighty.
