Boots and Boys Lyrics
(Boots,Boys)
I think it's time that I mention
I've got myself an obsession
for the smell,for the touch
I know I got myself a habit
but I've got to have it now
I dont care,work it out
(let me break it down)
I try it on,I take it off
So what you got?
Something about
Chorus:
Boots and Boys (boots and boys)
They bring me so much joy (bring me joy)
I gotta say it I wear em both so pretty as I walk in the city
Watch out! Boots and Boys
(give me boots and boys)
Im keeping quite the colletion
Take nothing less than perfection
Cowboy boots,Cowboy boys
Mmhmm oh the joy
My men drop beats like a bomb
Excuse me,now huh?
Wind me up,spin me 'round
Oh look at what I've found
Repeat Chorus
Crazy for you, crazy for you (give me boots and boys)
Im crazy for you, crazy for you (give me boots and boys)
Im crazy for you, crazy for you (give me boots and boys)
(Oh!)
Hey--Watcha lookin at?
Hey--Something you cant have
Yeah--They've got me lookin rad
if/and you're not
Repeat Chorus (2x)
Crazy for you,Crazy for you (give me boots and boys)
Im crazy for you, crazy for you (give me boots and boys)
Im crazy for you, crazy for you (give me boots and boys)
Ah-Ah (repeat)

oops it's not "havoc" it's "habit" Great Song :P
Haha I like this song :]
As a male Ke$ha fan, I've just got to say... this song is a little TOO girly.
LOVE IT! Sooo cute! It totally drops all the stupid country singers on their asses! Ke$ha's got her sexy boots AND all the sexy boys :) I can totally see Jessica Simpson in her daisy dukes with her fat ass hanging out, desperate as ever, singing shit about "Please take my breath away!" while my girl Ke$ha is over here stomping on all your asses!
It's simply about her love for boys and boots. She compares both of them to each other. Saying that she wears cowboy boots and thinks about cowboys. She loves both and has both of them.
Furthermore, she is mentioning boys as if they are materialistic, as they are compared to boots. Look at the lyrics: "I gotta say it I wear em both so pretty as I walk in the city" indicating that she wears boys like she does boots. This represents the idea of material love.

Furthermore, as C4turdayz says the song is girly, but mainly because Ke$ha is referencing how teenage girls are boy crazy and basically build relationships with boys for unintended meanings. This isn't a song about human love, but rather the materialistic world we live in and how people (primarily teenagers) prize the material world over true love.
Lastly, Ke$ha could very well be indicating that the material world is seen as a better gift these days rather than mutual internal love. The lyrics "Im keeping quite the colletion/ Take nothing less than perfection" indicates how we are becoming spoiled, worldly, and much more materialistic in the world today.
