Last night I found heaven
It's on the tip of my tongue
And it reminded me of
All the times I was young

I'm catching rain in my open mouth
I used to smile till the day I found out
I have no idea who the hell I've become
It's not who I was, it's not who I love

I want to drown, in a sea filled with Novocaine
I want to burn, on a beach where the sand
Has thousands of needles poking at my skin

I lie in bed to the sound, of the wolves at my door
They are speaking in tongues
While they claw at my floor

I never thought it would come to this
I'm more yellow than my own piss

They're making rounds
Just to even the score
Just open the door
Just open the door

I want to drown, in a sea filled with Novocaine
I want to burn, on a beach where the sand
Is littered with razor blades
Littered with razor blades
Blades
Littered with razor blades

I can't hold on, the path is clear
I can't ignore, what's been building for years
There's wolves at the door, I won't hide here in fear
Wolves at the door

I look at myself and the things that I've done
Stare away from the mirror and right into the sun
I forgive myself for all of my mistakes
When will I learn, when will I, when will I burn?

I want to drown, in a sea filled with Novocaine
I want to burn, on a beach where the sand
Is littered with razor blades

I gave up on myself a long time ago
To the black clouds I'm swallowed
And spit me out whole

Some times it feels like I'm losing my soul
At least that means
I still have a soul after all

woohoo first comment... these are the lyrics to the madden version... the actual version is far from this, and had to be censored a lot. The actual version is so much better lyrically and will make the song much clearer. i cant wait for this album XD

Eyes are yellow, they're my own pets

the line is not "eyes are yellow, they're my own pets"

the correct lyrics are "I'm more yellow than my abyss"

Holy crap. This song is so good. It may still be different from their old stuff but this is great.

The song definetly deals with Anxiety and Depression and how it can take a hold of you so much. It becomes a physical problem as well as mental. Buddy's refering to these intruding thoughts and anxiety as "Wolves at the door". they try to enter your mind and haunt you. Getting so frusterated that you have thoughts of dying in rediculous ways, such as burning on a beach where the sand is littered with razorblades etc. Powerful song, love the screaming, love the anger.

The correct lyrics are..."I'm more yellow than my own piss" first off. Secondly...I agree with the guy above. It's about depression and anxiety and the difficulties that come with it. I love this song...it's my favorite on the album that I've heard so far.

part 5, I believe that he realised after he changed not being his father, that there are a million other things he needs to change. Its overwhelming. He freaks out a lot, realising how many things he needs to change. ANd he tries not to let the bad things back into his mind (wolves).

It sounds like he relates some of the lyrics to lyncanthropy, which is always cool.

Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
