And it's a sad picture, the final blow hits you
Somebody else gets what you wanted again and
You know it's all the same, another time and place
Repeating history and you're getting sick of it
But I believe in whatever you do
And I'll do anything to see it through

Because these things will change
Can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
It's a revolution, the time will come
For us to finally win
And we'll sing hallelujah, we'll sing hallelujah

So we've been outnumbered
Raided and now cornered
It's hard to fight when the fight ain't fair
We're getting stronger now
Find things they never found
They might be bigger
But we're faster and never scared
You can walk away, say we don't need this
But there's something in your eyes
Says we can beat this

Because these things will change
Can you feel it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
It's a revolution, the time will come
For us to finally win
And we'll sing hallelujah, we'll sing hallelujah

Tonight we'll stand, get off our knees
Fight for what we've worked for all these years
And the battle was long, it's the fight of our lives
But we'll stand up champions tonight

It was the night things changed
Can you see it now?
These walls that they put up to hold us back fell down
It's a revolution, throw your hands up
'Cause we never gave in
And we'll sing hallelujah, we sang hallelujah
Hallelujah

To me, this song is about any struggle. Anything in your life people are telling you you can't do, or you can't survive, this is the song that proves everyone wrong. This is about not giving up, no matter how many people pull you down and say you can't win this, you can't even fight the battle. It's the ultimate inspirational song. Just listening to it makes me feel like I can do anything and prove the whole world wrong.

    I haven't heard a song like that in a while :)

I absolutely love this song. I've gone back and read the lyrics a lot of times, and hate to say it, but the first time I read/listened to the lyrics I did indeed think about a guy. That sucks, I feel like such a girl for that, I know! But ultimately I think that this song is about giving strength and belief to someone that you know is capable of doing so much more than imaginable, that just can't find what you see in themselves. Its about lending your faith to someone who's trying to prevail in a situation against all odds. Everyone and everything is telling them that 'no, you can't do this'. Every logical answer points in the direction of 'no'. And they believe it. Despite everything you know, you have every confidence in this person. This is something they want; something they need... and you know that they can do it. Whether it be about a relationship that everything/one is against... so much so that one parter no longer has confidence in the relationship, but the other reassures them, and knows that they can get passed everyone that disapproves(which was my first interpitation of this song... but I doubt thats what this song was written about... but it very well could be actually, considering how many of her songs are about guys) or about getting out of where you are, and living out the life you want, or maybe just a personal battle within... this song is about being strong through another person, and finding inner strength.

I think this song means to fight off all of the evil in your life and to put your wall down that keeps you protected from the outside world and to fight the war of evil, hate, drugs, sex, alchohol, and heark breaks. I am going to sing this song with my singing group because I belive in this song. It's staring a revolution and singing halleiujah.

This song helped me through some rough times - thankfully I always had my very best friend in those times too. I owe her alot!

This song is about LIFE. People get what you want and you hate it, right? It gets you down sometimes. It's all the same, it's happened before - repeating history and your getting sick of it! But you and your friends know that things will change. It wont always be this way. People have turned against you, and yeah, it isn't great, but you know you can beat this. Things will change, you can feel it. The walls that they built up to block you out of the world, you knock them down. It's a revolution. And it feels amazing. You know its coming. All the bad stuff you've had to go through will be 'forgotten' and you'll be able to be free.

    Song Meaning

This song for Taylor is about her record label, but it doesn't have to be just about that for everyone. That's what's so great about Taylor- she can write a song and you can fit it into whatever situation you're in. This song is about for one thing, having hope and faith in something. Having hope, faith, determination, and never giving up on something you need or want is what this song is about. It's about never giving up on something you can't live without, no matter how hard it is or how long it takes to get there. I think this song was written to give people hope and to day "follow your dreams and never, ever let go." In the end, it says that they got what they wanted because they never gave in. She's basically saying that if you keep your mind on what you need and go for it, you're going to win in the end, even if it wasn't what you wanted in the end. Everything happens for a reason, even if you don't know it right away. But never give up or lose hope.

    My Opinion

This is such an empowering song. From seeing people struggle to start a business or protesting with the Occupy movement, from fighting for social, environmental and economic justice to combating stereotypes and achieving milestones in education, it's about overcoming obstacles and working so hard for the change you want to see in the world.

It's about walls coming down, but for some they never do. They can't. It's simply too large of a risk. And it's scary. It's felt as a threat. Good song.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
