    General CommentI listen to this and I cry...she has a very unique voice-and boyplu was right...we haven't heard this kind of voice in a while...it reminds me of Stevie Nicks...just the raw emotion that both artists pour into the lyrics. You see them written on a webpage...and its nothing-not as much meaning...when you hear them being sang. So, in that way, it reminds me of stevie nicks

    General CommentThis song reminds me so much of past experiences. The song is definitely from a girl's perspective, and she is broken up with for another girl. She doesn't feel pretty anymore, due to how amazing the girl is compared to her, from jealousy. The girl is trying to decipher reasons why he broke up with her.

    I really like this song, and it took me a while to figure out who sang it and what it was called.

    General CommentThis song is about a girl who got broken up with and she is trying to figure out why... and what she did wrong. i love this song because it shows a common situation from a girl's perspective.. it shows both teenagers and women in society that they are not alone in their depressing breakups.

    General CommentJust because they say "beautiful", and it's a girl singing. Doesn't have to be a girl's perspective.

    I dated a girl for 4 years, we promised our lives to each other, we were both in love, she called me her "beautiful mess", because I was clumsy, she never actually called me beautiful except for that. But anyways, she left me for another guy, and I can't move on from her and it's been 2 years, I can't forget her, so this doesn't have to be from a girl's perspective, it can be anybody who's been broken up with and is heartbroken.

    Also it's life, people leave people, and yes it's true guys leave girls more than girls leave guys, but at least the guy leaves the girl and then goes after other girls. Females cheat so much more than males. Everyday, whether it's teenagers in month to month relationships, a brand new married couple in their 20's, or a couple that's been married for years in their 30's or 40's, women cheat so much more. At least men have the decency to leave the woman first instead of just cheating.

    But I love this song, makes me happy and sad at the same time, she has a weird unique voice. Makes me miss my love. =]

    General CommentThis song basically is about a girl(or guy) who was broken up with by their significant other. They don't understand what happened and they're trying to find out. They believed they were unbreakable, untouchable, and that they were in it for the long run(you and me against the world, and you promised me forever more) He or she promised the singer that they would always be together and now that they're broken up, the singer is struggling to comprehend the whole thing.

    This is how I feel right now about my current situation. Had boyfriend for two years, it was all good, a little fighting towards the end, but even right before the end he told me not to worry, that we'd be good in the long run, and over time, he had told me plenty of times that he would love me always. now he doesn't love me; we're not together.

    I don't think the singer's boyfriend(girlfriend) cheated though, I think there would be more scorn in the song. This more of like mourning the loss of the relationship, the death of their future, and the confusion of it all. =[

    General CommentWell I am sorry if I offended some of you if I said HER or SHE or something that refers to a female. I wasn't thinking. I just thought that since it was sung by a female, it would be about one. But yes, I agree that this song can be related to both genders.

    My Interpretation I experienced this kind of situation, not with a boyfriend, but with a best friend.

    He was the one who made my day brighter, he always called when he got the chance, and he was always there for me to call. But then this led to that, and I'm not even sure why we don't really talk anymore..

    The chorus is EXACTLY what I'm feeling.. We were so tight, and I told him how I was scared of losing him, so he promised to be there forever. And now we never even talk, and it's got me wondering if it was something that I did..seriously.. what made me unbeautiful.

    Many people can relate to this song in different ways, but one thing that's common is that we're all missing someone whose further away now that they were before.

    And btw, Lesley Roy did beautifully in this song. If it was sung by someone else other than her, then it wouldn't be that affective. Her voice just puts this certain something into it =]

    My InterpretationAhh, haven't we all been here!
    Its basically when a relationship ends & you have no idea why as you thought everything was pretty much perfect.

    Simply perfect lyrics :) she's basically saying how could you have the feelings you said you had for me & then they just disappear so quickly.

    Her voice is gorgeous, I can see her being a little dark horse!
