She was given the world
So much that she couldn't see
And she needed someone to show her,
Who she could be.
And she tried to survive
Wearing her heart on her sleeve
And I needed you to believe

You had your dreams, I had mine.
You had your fears, I was fine.
You showed me what I couldn't find,
When two different worlds collide.

She was scared of it all, watching from far away.
She was given a role, never knew just when to play.
And she tried to survive
Living her life on her own
Always afraid of the throne
You give me strength to find hope.

You had your dreams, I had mine.
You had your fears, I was fine.
You showed me what I couldn't find,
When two different worlds collide.

She was scared
Unprepared.
Lost in the dark.
Falling apart,
I can survive,
With you by my side.
We're gonna be alright.
This is what happens when two worlds collide.

You had your dreams, I had mine.
You had your fears, I was fine.
You showed me what I couldn't find,
When two different worlds collide.

You had your fears, I was fine.
You showed me what I couldn't find,
When two different worlds collide.
When two different worlds collide.

It reminds me of my best friend. I was scared of everything, and really depressed till she came into my life. And now she's moving, and I'm upset. And this song makes me cry now.

I think this song is about Selena gomez a little, but I think... actually, I KNOW that it's mostly about Selena and her's characters in "Princess Protection Program."

    Positive.

I think that this is one of the best Friendship songs I've ever heard. Its not like those ones that say " your my best friend.. blah blah blah, Its more like talking about her own life and Selena's. For example- the first verse is talking about Selena." I needed you to believe is Demi. Then the second verse is talking about herself and how Selena helped her.

I think this is a beautiful song. And it reminds me of the times I had with my best friend. But now she moved away. And ill stop telling my life story. :)

    Bye.

This is a really good song. Some of these lyrics are wrong though.

And she tried to survive Living a life on her own Always afraid of the throne But you've given me The strength to find home

    It should be

Living a life on her own Always afraid of the throne But you've given me strength to find hope

not home, hope and ther's no the in it either. Of course this is about Selena Gomez, she already said it, and it's about not wanting to go off in different directions and stay close together no matter what because they have different dreams.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blue
Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
