Wish you were here
Me oh my country man
I wish you were here
I wish you were here
Don't you know the snow is getting colder?
And i miss you like hell
And i'm feeling blue
I wish you were here
Me oh my country man
I wish you were here
(wish you were here)
I wish you were here
Don't you know the snow is getting colder?
And i miss you like hell
And i'm feeling blue
I've got feelings for you
Do you still feel the same?
From the first time i laid my eyes on you
Felt the joy of living
I saw heaven in your eyes
In your eyes
I wish you were here
Me oh my country man
I wish you were here
(wish you here)
I wish you were here
Don't you know the snow is getting colder?
And i miss you like hell
And i'm feeling blue
I miss your laugh
I miss your smile
I miss everything about you
Every second is like a minute
Every minute's like a day
When you're far away
(the snow is getting colder and i wish you were here
(a battlefield of love and fear, and i wish you were here)
I've got feelings for you
Zfrom the first time i laid my eyes on you
I wish you were here
Me oh my country man
I wish you were here
(wish you were here)
I wish you were here
Don't you know the snow is getting colder?
And i miss you like hell
And i'm feeling blue
(wish you were here)

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
