nothing is all that original darling
but we'll do what we can to climb on your charts
and there's this ringing in my ears
that is all your fault
yeah there's a ringing in my ears
that is all your fault
build up a tolerance i'll break in minutes
just like you taught me and before this all ends
there'll be a ringing in your head
that is all my fault
there'll be a ringing in your head
that is all my fault

(chorus)
and you need to find someone
that you are happy with
and i need to write the words
to tear it all apart
and have you caught on just yet
to what we're doing here
go decide right now
on which side you are gonna land

the first kiss
the motions
it's as i predicted
you're settling now
this is life after me
so honey get out while you can
these walls just might fall
yeah honey get out while you can
these walls just might fall

you've come out of nowhere
just like all the others
you've come to argue against
pure chemistry
so buddy get out while you can
i'll make these walls fall
yeah buddy get out while you can
i'll make these walls fall

(chorus)

(bridge)
darling you're magnificent
between the stars
and all the rest is show for them
i've got to make you understand
the difference all this time can make
long after you put us away
here's hoping that this gets to you
i've lit the match there goes the fuse
i'll wait as this goes round again
and our time comes but until then

(chorus)+
you need to find someone
that you are happy with
and i need to write every word
to tear you apart
please don't misunderstand
what i am saying here
i wish you both the best
til i see you again

I thought this was Wolves' Den.

I like it when he says "honey" in the second verse. Cute!! This is only like my new fav song.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there.
