I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Is he condemning the use of psychedelics? Or is he embracing them? I can't tell, please help? ;]
this song is about someone having/going into a bad trip.
No, not bad trip, good trip. Read again.

I'm having the most PERFECT hallucination.
Green and blue patterns are forming all over me like a deck of cards;
Ahhh I have a feeling this is what (almost?) PARADISE must be like.
I don't think I'll ever be the same again.

Sounds like he's having fun to me.

Peace,
Snoogie
yes...BUT then it turns directly around and now hes asking for help. PLEASE HELP....PLEASE HELP. It almost seems to change in a silent, quick manner. Like how it really would during a trip.

He feels these "feelings" he knows are hallucinations. He even compares the visuals to something real, like a deck of cards. Has a feeling of what paradise MIGHT be like (still in reality)

Then after "Please help", his next statement is one that offers no doubt. The room is really filling up with patterns and light. Now he thinks he's dying (a common bad trip inducer) haha
What a wonderful song... I really overlooked this one.
