"I Lust U" as written by Bryan Hollon and Gruff Rhys....
You and I carry on strenuously;
Carrying the burden of publicity.
Straight to another inevitably,
Sell photos of the newborn for the highest fee.

And I love you...
Yes, I'll love you
If the price is right.

And I lust you...
Yes, I'll lust you
If the price is right.

You and I get along famously;
I need you and you need me.
Staring from the cover of a magazine,
Selling our souls for the highest fee.

And I kiss you...
Yes, I'll kiss you
If the price is right.

But I love you...
Yes, I'll love you
If the price is right.

And I love you...
(You and I get along famously)
Yes, I'll love you
If the price is right.

And I lust you...
(You and I get along famously)
Yes, I'll lust you
If the price is right.

And I kiss you...
(You and I get along famously)
Yes, I'll kiss you
If the price is right.

But I love you...
(You and I get along famously)
Yes, I'll love you
If the price is right

General Commenti'm pretty sure that where you have 'kiss you' he's saying 'curse you'. sounds that way to me, anyway. :]

for some reason, in the version of this song that i have, the guy starts out the singing and the girl comes second, but when i watch the video it's the other way around. weird.

the song is obviously touches on fame and celebrity, but farther then that i'm not sure. maybe famous couples?

i love the line about selling photos of the newborn for the highest fee. reminds me of tom cruise selling pictures of his baby for insane amounts of money. sick stuff.

General Commentit's about celebrity couples and how they don't atually love each other there just in it for the publicity.
the different words show different aspects of a celebrity couples life
love... acting all loved up in public
    lust... there sex life
curse... the arguments that make the front pages.

It's saying that none of these feelings are true but that there just in it for the money

    :)

General CommentAgreed with what you guys have said.

More specifically, the whole album is a concept album about John DeLorean, the "playboy engineer," who worked for GM, started his eponymous car company, and was then arrested by the FBI for trying to arrange a cocaine deal to try to keep his company afloat. Great album.
