So you've found your stomping grounds
Make a fist and tear 'em down
Wash your face get all the blood
Off bare your teeth and make them run
We were made to take you down
Change of heart, go sleep it off
Find the holes and patch them up
Time is out, go change the locks

We will walk through walls
Yeah, we'll walk through walls, I swear

Count the cracks across your face
Squint your eyes pretend they're gone
Change of heart, go mow the lawn
These tiny fists can't save the world

We were made to take you down
Change of heart, go sleep it off
When you climb you're bound to fall
What goes up just goes away

We will walk through walls, my dear
I promise you
We will walk through walls, my dear
I promise you
We will walk through walls, my dear
I promise you
And we will walk through walls, my dear
I promise you

I'll put parenthesis around all of my corrections:

So you've found your (stomping) grounds Make a fist and tear 'em down Wash your face get all the blood Off (bare) your teeth and make them run (We) were made to take (you) down Change of heart (go) sleep it off Find the holes and patch them up Time is (out), (go) change the locks

We will walk through walls Yeah, we'll walk through walls this way (I'm not 100% sure, but I always thought this said "I swear" instead of "this way" it makes more sense to me with the ending saying "I promise you" they coorelate in that sense)

Count the cracks across your face Squint your eyes pretend they're gone Change of heart go mow the lawn These tiny fists can't save the world

(We) were made to take you down Change of heart (go) sleep it off When you (climb) you're bound to (fall) What goes up just goes away

We will walk through walls, my dear I promise you We will walk through walls, my dear I promise you We will walk through walls, my dear I promise you And we will walk through walls, my dear I promise you

I think it's supposed to be "bear your teeth and make them run". Also it's "When you climb, you're bound to fall"

I love this song. All of this artist's songs are enigmas though, I can never figure out what they mean...

I think the person in the song is promising that they will eventually die.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Page

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
