Will you wipe the fear from your face?
You’re such a nervous wreck, I see
‘Cause I’ve waited all of my life for this one moment
Now it’s here
I’ve been out wandering these plains
Searching for what I can’t pretend

I’ve been wasting all my life looking down into this wasteland
Where no one could be found
But then I saw you, running ‘round so free
That’s when I knew you were the one

I was taken back by your stare
Brilliant eyes that could signal to the air
I tried my best to impress
Didn’t mind if I compromised myself
I was broken down
But you picked me up
And you brought out the best in me

I’ve been wasting all my life looking down into this wasteland
Where no one could be found
But then I saw you, running ‘round so free
That’s when I knew you were the one

An awesome song! It just makes you feel so good and just oozes with optimism! The lyrics are pretty much self-explanatory, and just leave you with hope. The music is also brilliant! I love the way he blends the piano with the guitar in certain parts, and everything just complements one another! Definitely keeping my eye on this band! 8D

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
