Well it's true
I feel the rain
I feel the pain
I feel the shame

Same blood running through my veins
Same beating heart
One for each mind

And it's so easy to live
And it's so easy to live
And it's so easy to love
Why don't we

Eh, we keep on running on we
From now I'm running away

Life means nothing at all
If I don't fall
In love with you

Zazie's part can be translated as follows:

"Yes I feel the wind I feel the rain Feel the pain

The blood running through my veins Follows it's way I follow mine

And it's so easy to live And it's so easy to live And it's more easy to live Than to love you"

Yes the girl seems more pessimistic that the guy...

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
