I know you, like I know myself.
You know me, like someone else.
Going too fast to relate
Going too fast to hesitate

You use me like a billfold
I use you like a flesh-mold

I am your hollow soul
You are my little hole

Chorus:

This is where end justifies all means
This is where Satan gives us beans

It takes two, to take it light
It takes two, to make it right
Only one, to make it wrong
It takes two, to pretend
It takes two, my friend

Chorus 2x

Going too fast, to relate
Going too fast, to hesitate

Chorus

Considering latest corrections (which for some reason i believe is right ones), i think this song is about mutually profitable relations without that much of feelings involved, if any at all. The only problem here is that the persona of this song sometimes are not so happy about it: maybe cause of nostalgia for some old relations lost, maybe cause of obsolete yet somehow still alive ethics, maybe something other - we all feel blue sometimes. But this disturbance is not that big, really, so it's easy to just go on.

Only one thing i don't get is 'beans'. Anyone?

Surprised no one's commented this, very good song. Seems like one person who adores another, but has the opposite treatment in return. The "you are my little hope" line is the person still keeping faith that they could be together, although it seems impossible.

Does seem like these lyrics are incorrect in certain places, but I can't confirm that yet btw.

The song makes me think of two people who are passionate towards each other, but when they try to be in love, it doesn't work out. They have an understanding, but they can't seem to understand each other. They just keep fueling their desire to have each other, to take what they want, and they don't stop to meet on the same level.

Dreamwalker

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
