Anyone But You Lyrics

I'm always thinking
Of someone new
I'm never sitting
Okay with you
There's always something else on my mind
There's always something I can't find

You think about anything you can
I think about you
I'll think about anything it's true (true)

I'm almost perfect
Some of the time
I'm also sinking
Some of the time

I'm almost ready
Yeah, it's almost true
For almost anyone but you

You think about anything you can
I think about you
I'll think about everything it's true (true)
I'm always sinking
Beneath the sand
You're holding nothing in your hand

You think about anything you can
I think about you
But I'll think about anything it's true (True)

Bah ba ba bah ba bah ba ba bah ba

love this song. i think it's about wanting to move on from a bad relationship. he can see all the possibilities that are out there and the girl is obviously over it. but he can't stop thinking about her.

"i'm almost pefect/some of the time/i'm also sinking/some of the time." sometimes he's almost enough, the rest of the time he's never enough.

"i'm always sinking/beneath the sand/you're holding nothing in your hand." he's failing and she's not doing anything to save him.

beautiful song. so sad.

some parts of the lyrics reminds me of a "friend" who always tells me how bad i am at stuff.. you know, i'm not good at anything in her eyes and she's really pushing me down.

I hear this song on Muzak at work most nights. Bad thing is that at the end of the song, it sounds like a bunch of dogs howling.
